Marinduque PNP and Rotary Clubs Join Forces in Campaign against Terrorism nd Drugs in Balanacan NHS Sept 29, 2023. In a powerful display of community partnership and commitment to education and security, the Marinduque Police Provincial Office joined forces with the Rotary Club Marinduque Premier and Rotary Club Marinduque North for a Dissemination campaign on the Kontra Terorismo Program and the War against Drugs. The event, which took place at Balanacan National High School from 9 AM to 12 PM, aimed to raise awareness about these critical issues while also promoting literacy through book donations.
The "2 in 1" event began with a comprehensive presentation by the Marinduque Police Provincial Office, addressing the importance of Kontra Terorismo and the ongoing fight against drug-related crimes. Officers discussed the community's role in these efforts and encouraged active participation from the attendees.
In a simultaneous initiative, Rotary Club Marinduque North organized a book donation drive, which falls under the basic literacy area of focus. The club's members handed over a generous collection of books to the school, emphasizing the importance of education as a means to combat social issues, including drug abuse and terrorism.
The event drew a diverse crowd, including students, teachers, community leaders, and concerned citizens, who engaged in discussions, asked questions, and expressed their support for the programs.
