Through the BRAVE Project (Birth Registration Advocacy for Vulnerable Population to End Childhood Statelessness), we are committed to ensuring that no child is left invisible and that every child has the right to belong.

Children and adolescents 0โ€“17 years old who do not yet have a birth certificate.

The Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of LGU Datu Odin Sinsuat successfully participated in the Birth Registration Advocacy for Vulnerable Populations to End Childhood Statelessness (BRAVE) Training Program held on April 6โ€“9, 2026, at Eighty-Eight Hotel, Koronadal City.

Representing the Municipality of Datu Odin Sinsuat were the Local Youth Development Officer and representatives from various youth organizations, namely:

๐‘ถ๐’“๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’›๐’†๐’… ๐’ƒ๐’š ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’”๐’๐’“๐’•๐’Š๐’–๐’Ž ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’๐’ˆ๐’”๐’‚๐’Ž๐’๐’“๐’ ๐‘ช๐’Š๐’—๐’Š๐’ ๐‘บ๐’๐’„๐’Š๐’†๐’•๐’š (๐‘ช๐‘ฉ๐‘ช๐‘บ) ๐’Š๐’ ๐’‘๐’‚๐’“๐’•๐’๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’‰๐’Š๐’‘ ๐’˜๐’Š๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘ผ๐‘ต๐‘ฐ๐‘ช๐‘ฌ๐‘ญ, the training strengthened the capacity of youth leaders and stakeholders in advocating for birth registration, identifying barriers faced by vulnerable populations, and promoting every child's right to a legal identity. The activity also served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing among advocates committed to ending childhood statelessness in the Bangsamoro region.

As a significant outcome of the training, LGU Datu Odin Sinsuat was awarded a Seed Grant worth Fifty Thousand Pesos (โ‚ฑ50,000.00) to support the implementation of local initiatives and advocacy efforts aimed at improving birth registration and ensuring that more children gain access to their legal identity and essential services.

The Local Youth Development Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to ๐‘ฏ๐’๐’. ๐‘จ๐’ƒ๐’…๐’–๐’๐’Ž๐’‚๐’Š๐’ โ€œ๐‘ฉ๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’‚โ€ ๐. ๐‘จ๐’ƒ๐’‚๐’”, ๐‘บ๐’“., ๐‘ด๐’–๐’๐’Š๐’„๐’Š๐’‘๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’š๐’๐’“ ๐’๐’‡ ๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’•๐’– ๐‘ถ๐’…๐’Š๐’ ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’๐’”๐’–๐’‚๐’•, for his steadfast support of youth development programs and initiatives. His dedication to empowering young people and investing in opportunities that promote leadership, participation, and community development continues to inspire the youth sector of the municipality.

The LYDO and participating youth representatives remain committed to utilizing the knowledge, skills, and resources gained from the BRAVE Training Program to strengthen birth registration advocacy and contribute to building inclusive communities where every child is recognized, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive.
