This June, the 𝗟𝗚𝗕𝗧𝗤𝗜𝗔+ 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 joyfully extends its warmest greetings in celebration of Pride Month a time to honor our vibrant spirit, our resilience, and the contributions we've made and continue to make in every corner of society.

Pride is often seen in colors, parades, and joyful expressions of identity. But we must never forget: it began as a protest. Born from the Stonewall riots in 1969, Pride is rooted in resistance against oppression, against erasure, and against the denial of basic human rights. That legacy lives on today.

Yes, we celebrate, but we also take the time to reflect. Because for many in our community, the fight for acceptance, safety, and equality continues. Pride is not just about being visible; it’s about being heard, respected, and truly free.

As Marsha P. Johnson once said, “𝑵𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒖𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒇 𝒖𝒔.”

May this month remind us of how far we’ve come and how far we still have to go. Let us stand together in solidarity, speak with compassion, and act with courage. Happy Pride Month, Everyone!

The 39th Anniversary of the People Power Revolution! 🎗️💗

Kahit ilang holiday pa ang tanggalin ng Malacañang, hindi kailanman mabubura ang diwa ng People Power—lalo na sa mga Pilipinong patuloy na lumalaban para sa demokrasya, hustisya, at pantay-pantay na karapatan.

Bilang bahagi ng LGBTQIA+ Community ng Binuangan, kinikilala natin ang diwa ng EDSA hindi lang bilang isang tagumpay laban sa diktadura, kundi bilang isang patuloy na laban para sa pagkakapantay-pantay at pagpapalaya mula sa pang-aapi. Ang ating pakikibaka para sa gender rights at demokratikong lipunan ay bahagi ng mas malawak na laban para sa isang bansang makatao at makatarungan.

Hindi tayo dapat matakot o mapagod na manindigan. Sa harap ng patuloy na disimpormasyon, pang-aabuso ng kapangyarihan, at pagtatangkang patahimikin ang mamamayan, lalo nating kailangang ipaglaban ang katotohanan, kalayaan, at pagkakapantay-pantay.

Huwag nating kalimutan—ang People Power ay hindi lang isang kabanata ng kasaysayan. Isa itong paalala na sa sama-samang pagkilos, may pag-asa tayong baguhin ang lipunan para sa lahat, anuman ang kasarian, identidad, o antas sa buhay. Tuloy ang laban para sa isang makatarungan, progresibo, at inklusibong Pilipinas!
