This June, the ๐๐๐๐ง๐ค๐๐+ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ป joyfully extends its warmest greetings in celebration of Pride Month a time to honor our vibrant spirit, our resilience, and the contributions we've made and continue to make in every corner of society.
Pride is often seen in colors, parades, and joyful expressions of identity. But we must never forget: it began as a protest. Born from the Stonewall riots in 1969, Pride is rooted in resistance against oppression, against erasure, and against the denial of basic human rights. That legacy lives on today.
Yes, we celebrate, but we also take the time to reflect. Because for many in our community, the fight for acceptance, safety, and equality continues. Pride is not just about being visible; itโs about being heard, respected, and truly free.
As Marsha P. Johnson once said, โ๐ต๐ ๐๐๐๐
May this month remind us of how far weโve come and how far we still have to go. Let us stand together in solidarity, speak with compassion, and act with courage. Happy Pride Month, Everyone!
