We, the JPIA-URS Commission on Elections (COMELEC), hereby inform the studentry that one of the aspirants in the ongoing election, Ms. Mharlyn Grace Mendez, has officially withdrawn her candidacy through a unanimous decision.

Due to the nature of the matter, further details regarding the withdrawal shall remain undisclosed. The COMELEC respects the decision made and asks for the understanding and consideration of everyone involved.

Furthermore, the release of voting results and all other scheduled election-related activities shall continue as planned.

The Commission on Elections remains committed to upholding fairness, integrity, and transparency in all electoral proceedings. We thank the studentry for their cooperation and participation throughout the election process and look forward to continued unity and professionalism within the organization.
