Earlier today, under the guidance of Mr. Gabriel R. Alipo-on โ Guidance In-charge, the Peer Mentors Club officially elected its first-ever set of student officers at the Lounge Area in front of the Guidance Office.
The Peer Mentors Club is a newly formed organization under the Guidance Office dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for students. By promoting peer-to-peer assistance, active listening, and empathy, the club aims to help fellow students navigate challenges inside and outside the classroom.
As the first group of Peer Mentors Club officers, these student leaders will work hand-in-hand with the Guidance Office to plan, promote, and implement activities that support mental health, personal growth, and a stronger sense of community. Their role includes providing a safe space where students can openly share, seek advice, and build resilience together.
โThrough this club, we hope to empower students to support one another, recognize when help is needed, and become responsible and compassionate leaders in our school community,โ shared Mr. Alipo-on
This milestone marks the beginning of meaningful peer-led initiatives and programs that will benefit the entire student body. The Guidance Office and Peer Mentors Club look forward to working together in the upcoming school year to create impactful and inclusive activities for everyone.
