Day 3 of Foster Week 2026! 🎓⚖️

Today’s College Orientation marked the beginning of their journey into Criminology. They were introduced to the subject, its scope, and what to expect as they take their first steps as a 1st year Criminology into the field. 📚👮‍♀️

They also had the opportunity to meet their Criminology instructors, learn about the course guidelines, expectations, and classroom policies, and gain an overview of the subjects and learning experiences ahead.

It was a meaningful introduction that helped them better understand what it means to study Criminology—and the knowledge, discipline, responsibility, and commitment that come with it.

Here’s to a new chapter of learning, growth, and discovering the path toward our future careers! 💙🎓

Leading with Purpose, Serving with Honor. ⚖️🦁

Today, the entire College of Criminal Justice Student Council family comes together to celebrate the birthday of one of our most dedicated student leaders and officers.

Leadership is never an easy path—it requires balancing academics, sacrificing personal time, and constantly placing the welfare of the student body above oneself. Yet, day in and day out, you choose to serve our fellow Criminology students with unwavering integrity, passion, and excellence. Your voice in the council brings clarity, your actions bring results, and your dedication sets a powerful example for the entire department.

Thank you for your tireless service, your brilliant mind, and your commitment to raising the bar for CCJ. As you celebrate another year of life, we pray for your continued success, good health, and the fulfillment of all your aspirations—both as a student leader and a future practitioner of justice.

Happiest birthday, Officer! May this year bring you closer to all your biggest dreams.💞
