‎Preserving the ozone layer is more than a one-day reminder—it is a responsibility we carry every day. From making mindful choices to reducing harmful emissions and supporting environmental action, every small step contributes to a healthier atmosphere and a safer future.

‎Let’s keep the protection going beyond September 16. Because caring for our planet isn’t seasonal—it’s a commitment we make today, tomorrow, and every day.

Waste pollution affects ecosystems, communities, and the climate.

The planet has plenty of hands that take; what it needs are hands that tend. Every choice to reduce waste, manage it properly, and keep our surroundings clean is a step toward healthier ecosystems, safer communities, and a more resilient Philippines.

Improper waste management can contaminate land and water, harm biodiversity, and contribute to greenhouse gas emissions.

According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the Philippines generated an estimated 60,760 metric tons of waste per day in 2025, highlighting the need for continued action on waste reduction and proper waste management.

This World Cleanup Day, the Climate Change Commission calls on everyone to turn care into action—for cleaner communities, healthier ecosystems, and a more resilient Philippines.

Clean air is essential for our health, our climate, and our ecosystems.

Air pollution not only harms communities but also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions that drive climate change. Improving air quality through sustainable transport, clean energy, and low-emission development supports both public health and climate action.

These efforts align with the Philippines’ climate commitments to reduce emissions while building healthier and more resilient communities.

Today, on the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies, the Climate Change Commission reaffirms that clean air is a shared responsibility and a cornerstone of our sustainable future.

‎Ang Manila Bay Youth Environmental Summit (MBYES) 2026 ay hindi lamang nagsilbing daan tungo sa pagsasama-sama ng mga kabataang may malasakit sa kalikasan ngunit naging simula ng mas malalim na koneksyon sa pagpapayabong ng kaalaman at kamalayan sa pagpapahalaga ng kalikasan.
‎
‎Ito ang hudyat ng mas pinatatag at mas pinatibay na mga kabataang titindig sa kinabukasan ng lipunan nang may buong pusong pagmamalasakit at pagmamahal sa inang kalikasan.
‎
‎Kapwa kabataang Biñanense, marahil ito na ang tanda upang ika'y makiisa sa mga kilusang pangkalikasan!

‎| Ika-21 ng Agosto, 2026 sa Umbria Commercial Center, Biñan City Laguna

‎Kasama ang iba't-ibang mga kabataan, buong-pusong nakibahagi ang MBYEC-Biñan City sa tatlong programa para sa selebrasyon ng Linggo ng Kabataan '26 sa Lungsod ng Biñan, na nailatag kahapon, ika-21 ng Agosto.
‎
‎Kabilang sa mga programang ito ay ang pagtatapos ng Batch 2 GEL Young Leaders Academy (Certificate in Student Governance and Empowered Leadership), paggagawad ng parangal para sa LikhaBataan 2026: The Biñan Youth Week Short Film Festival, at SIGLAWAN 2026: Sigla at Galaw ng Kabataan.

‎Sa kabila ng napakaraming taong dumalo sa pagdiriwang, ang organisasyon ay naging susi upang mapanatili ang kalinisan at kaayusan ng programa mula sa umpisa, habang, at pagtatapos nito.
