LET’S PAINT THE TOWN PINK 2026 🎀
NOT JUST OCTOBER, BUT EVERY MONTH! 🎀
The Zonta Club of Laguna proudly joins Let’s Paint the Town Pink: Think Pink, Empowerment in Sync in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, carrying the inspiring message: “Bongga Ka, Day! — Bongga Ka, Day Hindi Lang October Kundi Everyday!”
Students of Saint Michael’s College of Laguna showcased their talents and creativity by bringing their breast cancer awareness advocacy to life. Through their performances and presentations, they emphasized the importance of breast cancer awareness, early detection, and standing in solidarity with women facing this challenging journey. Their message reminds us that awareness and support must continue every day, not only in October.
A heartfelt highlight of the celebration was BrEaST ME: Stories of Hope, featuring inspiring women whose journeys remind us of the courage, resilience, and hope that shine through the challenges of breast cancer. We proudly feature:

🎀 Baby Perez Sison – Past District Governor, Zonta International District 17
🎀 Lady Ann Valenton – Past President, Zonta Club of Metro Ortigas
Their stories serve as powerful reminders that no woman should have to face this journey alone and that every story of courage deserves to be heard, honored, and celebrated. 🎀
The celebration was further enriched by the presence of Former Congresswoman Len Alonte-Naguiat and Congresswoman Ann Matibag, Zonta International District 17 Chair of Public Relations and Communications, whose participation reflected a shared commitment to advancing women’s health, awareness, and empowerment.
We also acknowledge the presence and support of Zonta Club of Laguna Vice President Jing Abarca, together with Imelda Paclibar, Jing Manabat, Susan Lijauco, Sarah Chavez, and Lea Obejera, whose solidarity and participation helped strengthen this meaningful advocacy.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Lourdes Almeda Sese, Zonta International District 17 Chair of the Z and Golden Z Club Committee, whose dedication and leadership have helped sustain Let’s Paint the Town Pink since its very first year. Her continued commitment to empowering young advocates and promoting breast cancer awareness has helped make this initiative a lasting advocacy.
The Z and Golden Z Club of Saint Michael’s College of Laguna, as the event’s host, played a vital role in bringing the celebration to life. Their teamwork, creativity, and active participation demonstrated the power of youth leadership in advancing advocacy and inspiring positive change.
The gathering also became a heartfelt opportunity to offer prayers and pay tribute to our fellow Zontians who have faced breast cancer. We honor these courageous women for the battles they have fought and continue to face. Their strength, faith, and unwavering determination inspire us to remain united in compassion, hope, and support.
As we celebrate this culmination, may we continue to raise awareness, encourage early detection, support breast cancer warriors and survivors, and build a community where every woman feels seen, supported, and empowered.
Because breast cancer awareness is more than wearing pink, it is about sharing stories of hope, honoring courage, offering compassion, and empowering women every single day. 🎀💕
