DAY 20: Culminating Activity: Our 20 days journey with SPES has officially come to an end! 🥂

We’re proud to have been recognized with a “Going the Extra Mile” award through our community efforts — including organizing the Dengue Awareness Seminar: “Dengue ay Iwasan, Tamang Kaalaman ang Panlaban” and launching a plastic bottle drive that helped us provide hygiene kits for the audience. These simple acts were our way of giving back and making a positive impact.

Huge thanks to Vice Mayor-elect Dada Reyes for her inspiring message, Konsehal Titus “Bossing” Bautista for his presence, and Saint Michael’s College of Laguna for serving as our venue for this special event. We also thank PESO Biñan for giving us the opportunity to be SPES Babies and take part in this meaningful experience.

Congratulations to all awardees, especially Barangay Dela Paz, for going the extra mile. This may be the end of our SPES journey — but it’s only the beginning of what we’ll bring to the future! ✨

Maligayang Araw ng Kalayaan, Pilipinas!🇵🇭

Ngayong Hunyo 12, 2025, inaalala natin ang tapang, sakripisyo, at pagmamahal ng ating mga bayani na nagbigay sa atin ng kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon. Hindi lang ito simpleng selebrasyon, kundi isang paalala na ang tunay na diwa ng kalayaan ay nasa puso ng bawat Pilipino sa ating pagkakaisa, malasakit, at pagmamahal sa bayan. Nawa’y patuloy tayong maging matatag at mapagmalasakit sa isa’t isa. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!🇵🇭❤️

Day 19: Zumba Exercise at the Organic Farm – Brgy. Dela Paz, Biñan, Laguna

We, the SPES babies, had an amazing time doing Zumba at the organic farm in Brgy. Dela Paz. It was a fun and healthy way to start the day, surrounded by nature and good vibes with the community.

DAY 18: SPES Dela Paz Brigada Pabasa 2025 📚

We had a meaningful and joyful day at Dela Paz Main Elementary School for this year’s Brigada Eskwela with the theme: “Sama - sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa” - where we inspired students to love reading through storytelling and fun interactions. It was a wonderful experience seeing the kids engage, learn, and enjoy books together with us!

Day 17: Brigada Eskwela 2025 at Dela Paz Main Elementary School

Another meaningful step toward creating a better learning environment for our students. Everyone’s hard work, dedication, and team spirit truly made a difference as we continued cleaning, organizing, and improving the school grounds. Each day brings us closer to our goal and Day 17 was no exception: a day filled with progress, unity, and shared purpose.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sir Roy Del Valle for his continued assistance, to Ma’am Mila for generously providing the sako, and to all the teachers who warmly welcomed and supported us. Your presence and cooperation truly uplifted the team and reminded us of the power of bayanihan. Let’s keep the momentum going as we move forward together!

DAY 16: Dengue Seminar Implementation

Today marks another meaningful milestone for our SPES babies as we successfully conducted our dengue awareness seminar titled “Dengue ay Iwasan, Tamang Kaalaman ang Panlaban.” A total of 20 participants attended the event, where they learned about the causes, symptoms, and ways to prevent the spread of dengue in our community. The seminar was not only informative, but also empowering. We believe that by spreading the right information, we can help protect more families from this harmful disease. We’re proud to be part of a program that brings people together and promotes a healthier, safer community.

A special thank you to our BESU Narda Cerdeña and Ma’am Joanne Zapata for their support, guidance, and food. Big thanks also to John Christian Caraca for the water, and to all our SPES Dela Paz leaders and members who worked hand in hand to make this activity a success. The teamwork made everything possible and enjoyable.
