BCWM - CFM 18th Kid’s Camp – Day 1 Recap 📸✨
What an incredible first day of camp! Held at Graceland Evangelical Christian Church in San Francisco, Biñan Laguna, our campers kicked off the 18th BCWM Kid’s Camp with energy, excitement, and eager hearts. With our theme “YOLO – You Only Live Once,” today we explored three powerful lessons from the story of Queen Esther:
🧡 Lesson 1: From Mordecai – The kids learned about standing firm in faith and doing what is right, even in the face of fear. Mordecai’s courage showed us how obedience and trust in God can make a big difference—not just in our lives, but in the lives of others.
🖤 Lesson 2: From Haman – We saw the dangers of pride and selfish ambition. Haman’s story reminded us that a heart full of envy and hatred leads to destruction. Campers were challenged to choose humility, kindness, and love instead.
👑 Lesson 3: From King Xerxes – Even as a powerful ruler, King Xerxes made impulsive decisions influenced by others. His story reminded us of the importance of wisdom, listening to godly counsel, and seeking God’s guidance in every choice we make.
🌸 Lesson 4: From Esther – Queen Esther taught us the power of courage, purpose, and obedience. Though afraid, she stepped up “for such a time as this” to save her people. Campers were inspired to be brave and trust that God can use them, no matter how young, to do great things for His kingdom.
From meaningful group discussions and interactive teachings to games, laughter, and new friendships—God is already working in amazing ways. 💫 We can’t wait to see what He’ll do on Day 2!
