This initiative brought together passionate perpetualites in Sto. Niño, Biñan, Laguna to restore and protect our local ilog through collective action. Cabaducan West, Bancag, Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija. Layunin ng inisyatibong ito na makapaghatid ng libreng serbisyong medical, dental, at optical sa mga mamamayan, biglang bahagi ng patuloy na adbokasiya ng unibersidad sa paglilingkod sa komunidad.

Sa tulong ng Supreme Student Council, UPHS–GMA, UPHS–GMA Red Cross Team, UPHS–GMA Nursing Student Body Organization, UPH–DJGTMU College of Dentistry, Graduate School, International and External Affairs Office (IEAO), Chancellor’s Office, UPHSL–Registrar, HR–School, at ng Somido Farm, naging possible ang isang araw ng malasakit, pagkakaisa, at serbisyong may puso para sa mga nangangailangan.

Sa pamamagitan ng PerpetuaLIFE, patuloy na isinusulong ng bawat Perpetualista ang mga programang naglalayong magbigay ng tulong sa mga mamamayang Pilipino.

The UPHSL Community Outreach Department, together with the Perpetualite Nation Builders and the College of Maritime Education, presents “𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐋𝐀𝐖 (𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐀𝐢𝐫, 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫): 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲” on April 20, 2026, at Brgy. Sto. Niño, Biñan, Laguna.

Together with the participation of more than 200 student-volunteers from the College of Maritime Education and different colleges, this initiative aims to improve environmental awareness, proper waste management, and collective responsibility.

This program highlights the importance of working together to protect the environment—reminding us that rivers sustain life and that their protection depends on consistent, shared effort.

Ngayong ika-84 na anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kagitingan, muli nating binabalikan ang isang mahalagang yugto ng kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Ipinagdiriwang natin ang kabayanihan at sakripisyo ng ating magigiting na sundalo noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig, na nagdusa at nagbuwis ng buhay upang ipagtanggol ang ating bansa laban sa puwersang Hapones—lalo na sa pagbagsak ng Bataan (Fall of Bataan).

Sa kasalukuyan, masisilayan pa rin natin ang diwa ng kagitingan ng mga Filipino, sapagkat sa gitna ng mga hamon at pagsubok patuloy pa rin na naglilingkod ang bawat isa para sa bayan.

Nawa’y paalalahanan tayo ng araw na ito na ang katapangan at kadakilaan ng mga Pilipino ay hindi matutumbasan ng anumang materyal na kayamanan sa mundo.

𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 is the quiet day of the tomb.

After the sorrow of the crucifixion, a deep silence took over. The stone was rolled into place, and it felt like everything was over. It was a day of waiting in the dark, no celebration, no signs of what was coming next, just the stillness of the tomb.

It is in this quiet in-between where faith remains. It is also a reminder to trust even when we do not fully understand, and to hold on when there is nothing immediate to see. God is never absent. He is still working, even in the stillness. Today, we reflect, we wait, and we place our faith in Him. 🕯️✝️
