May 2, 2026 | Completion Ceremony 🎉🎈

KuwenTuruan Year 5 ends today!

Congratulations to all 19 completers of KuwenTuruan 5: Karunungan sa Silid Aklatan, a free school break tutorial program for children aged 4–6!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this initiative possible. This activity was graced by our guest speaker, City Councilor Hon. Ingrid Almeda, along with officials from the DepEd Schools Division of Biñan City.

The Librarians Association of Biñan extends its sincere appreciation to our dedicated volunteer teachers for every session, the teacher-librarians from various public schools, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. San Antonio, Trimex Colleges – College of Education, the DepEd Division of Biñan, and the BCHATO staff for their invaluable support.

We would also like to thank Dr. Bryan Jayson T. Borja, Department Head of BCHATO, for his unwavering support, and Ms. Shiela G. Legaspi, City Librarian, for her guidance and commitment.

The last session of KuwenTuruan 5 was a blast!

Another special guest from DepEd SDO Biñan City, Christian Mespher A. Hernandez, OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, who served as our storyteller for the day; and Ms. Gretchen R. Ragual, Librarian II together with the staff.

We still extend our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers from Trimex College of Education for their valuable time, dedication, and unwavering support in helping make this session a success.

Another meaningful and joy-filled day unfolded during KuwenTuruan 5 – Session 5! 💙

The session became even more engaging through a captivating storytelling activity led by our guest storyteller, Ms. Gretchen R. Ragual, Librarian II from SDO Biñan. 📖✨

We are also truly grateful to the volunteers from Trimex College of Education for generously sharing their time, effort, and support. Special thanks as well to BCHATO, headed by Dr. BJ Borja, along with their team, for their continued assistance and partnership.

April 22, 2026 | KuwenTuruan 5: Session 4!

KuwenTuruan 5 Session 4 became even more memorable as we were honored by the presence of our special guests from the DepEd Tayo Biñan City: Dr. Arlene S. Ricasata, CESO VI, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent; Dr. Rhea DM. Bilbles, Education Program Supervisor for SPED/Kindergarten; and Ms. Gretchen R. Ragual, Librarian II .

The session was filled with excitement and inspiration as Dr. Arlene S. Ricasata led an engaging storytelling activity that captured the attention of the learners and encouraged their love for reading, imagination, and learning. Her meaningful stories and warm interaction made the day truly special for everyone.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers from Trimex College of Education and Sangguniang Kabataan from Barangay San Antonio for their valuable time, dedication, and unwavering support in helping make this session a success.

KuwenTuruan 5 Session 2 was extra special as we were joined by Department of Education SDO Biñan City Learning Resource Management Section headed by Dr. Evelyn P. de Castro, Education Program Supervisor-LR, Ms. Gretchen R. Ragual, Librarian II, and their staff.

The day became even more meaningful with an engaging storytelling activity led by our guest storyteller, Mr. Rocky Lou Aniciete, 2nd Placer at the National Level 2025 Gawad Teodora Alonso – Classroom Teacher Storyteller.

We are also grateful for the volunteers from Trimex College of Education for their time, effort, and support in making this session successful.
