A special highlight of our 1st GMM was the Tax Clinic, featuring a resource speaker from BIR Revenue District Office 056, who shared practical and timely information on:

✔️ Business registration and registration requirements
✔️ Taxes applicable to businesses and taxpayers
✔️ Tax filing obligations and important due dates
✔️ Proper TIN generation and registration
✔️ Automated TIN generation
✔️ Automated TIN ID and related processes

The session reminded us that tax compliance becomes easier when taxpayers are properly informed.

📚 Empowering Entrepreneurs Through Knowledge and Compliance! 💙💛

PICPA Laguna Chapter proudly partnered with the San Pedro City Ways and Means Committee in conducting a Free Accounting and Tax Advisory Service for the stall owners of San Pedro City Suki Market.

This meaningful initiative aims to educate and guide unregistered business owners on the proper process of business registration, while raising awareness of the importance of tax compliance and sound accounting practices. Beyond registration, participants were also provided practical guidance on their continuing obligations to help them operate their businesses responsibly and confidently.

At PICPA Laguna Chapter, we believe that every successful business begins with the right knowledge and a strong foundation of compliance. Through this collaborative effort, we continue our commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, promoting voluntary tax compliance, and supporting the government’s vision of a more informed and responsible business community.

Leadership in Action: PICPA Laguna Chapter Leadership Seminar & 2nd BOD Meeting 🌟

Today, August 1, 2026, the officers and directors of PICPA Laguna Chapter gathered in Biñan, Laguna for a full day of learning, planning, and purpose-driven service!

The morning kicked off with our Leadership Seminar, "Building Hope – Empowering Lives," featuring guest speaker Dr. Jezamine R. De Leon, MPSA — Registered Psychologist, Guidance Counselor, and Psychometrician — who shared an inspiring session on "Lead Without Burning Out: Navigating Stress, Psychological Safety, and Mental Health in High-Stakes Workplaces." A timely reminder that great leaders take care of their people — and themselves. 💙

In the afternoon, the Board of Directors proceeded with the 2nd BOD Meeting for FY 2026-2027 at Emerald Bldg 2, One Asia Business Center, Biñan, Laguna, led by our Chapter President, Luisa B. Fausto, CPA. The Board discussed key initiatives for the fiscal year, including the FY 2026-2027 Scorecard, Membership Development, Seminars and Trainings, and Committee Assignments — all geared toward serving our members better.
