True to its mission of service anchored on compassion and unity, the Central Biliran Lady Eagles Club (CBLEC) of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (PE) 1979, under the Biliran Eagles District of the Eastern Visayas Eagles Region VIII, took an active role in the Brigada Eskwela 2025 initiative of the Department of Education on June 13, 2025 (Friday).
Led by the strong and inspiring leadership of Ate Eagle Mary Hannah A. Eblacas, Club President of CBLEC, and represented by Ate Eagle Nancy Manlangit and Ate Eagle Annalie S. Bilbao, the club conducted meaningful back-to-back community outreach activities in two elementary schools within a single day ,an impressive display of dedication to civic engagement and volunteerism.
The day began with a visit to Libtong Daku Elementary School, where the CBLEC team was warmly welcomed by School Head Mrs. Gretchym Dela Peรฑa. The club generously donated school supplies for the students, aiming to ease the financial burden on families and support young learners in their educational journey.
In the afternoon, the group proceeded to Lucsoon Elementary School in Brgy. Lucsoon, Naval, Biliran, under the leadership of School Head Mr. Solomon Merez, Jr. Here, the team donated several gallons of paint to aid in the schoolโs beautification and classroom readiness efforts, further showcasing their commitment to improving learning environments.
This successful activity was made possible with the collective effort and support of the entire Central Biliran Lady Eagles Club, and with the guidance and encouragement of the Biliran Eagles District officers, under the leadership of our esteemed District Governor Kuya Eagle Ghary Gil Rubi.
These acts of compassion and generosity reflect the heart of our guiding principle: โService Through Strong Brotherhood.โ The Central Biliran Lady Eagles Club continues to uphold this noble ideal reaching out to communities, promoting education, and inspiring others to take part in purposeful action that uplifts lives and fosters unity.
Indeed, it is always an honor to serve.
