The GESSE: "KALAMBUAN PARA SA KINAIYAHAN" Academic Seminar and General Assembly was successfully held a day marked by learning, inspiration, and shared purpose.

This activity was organized to educate, inspire, and empower Environmental Science students. Through insightful discussions, success stories, recognition, and leadership transition, we were reminded that growth begins when we choose to listen and learn.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed resource speakers Mr. Wilbert A. Aureo, Ms. Rochelyn Y. Parba, and Ms. Jeffanie O. Calamba for generously sharing their expertise and journeys, which inspired us to see Environmental Science as both a responsibility and a meaningful path forward.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our department chair, Dr. Reizl P. Jose, and to our dedicated faculty members for their constant guidance, encouragement, and support.

We also commend the 4th Year Environmental Science students, the GESSE officers, and the class mayors whose hard work and commitment made this activity possible, from planning to ex*****on.

To all Environmental Science students and participants, thank you for your presence and engagement. Today reminded us that purpose can be found when we stay, listen, and grow.

🌱 May the lessons from today continue to guide us as future Environmental Scientists ready to understand, care, and act.

Daghang salamat sa tanan, and padayon sa kalambuan para sa kinaiyahan.

This Environmental Awareness Month, let us remember: Filipino resiliency should never be an excuse for inaction.

We cannot call it resilience when our mountains are stripped bare and our communities sink beneath rising waters. True strength is not measured by how much we can endure, but by how fiercely we protect what sustains us.

Let us defend the Earth so she may continue to defend us. Let us take decisive action that sustains us all.

We’re beyond thrilled to share that our GESSE Chairperson and Environmental Science students were recently featured in GMA’s Born to Be Wild! 🌏💚

Their passion and dedication to understanding the environment, wildlife, and our planet’s changing climate shine as a testament to what Environmental Science truly stands for; protecting life by understanding it.

🌦️ As climate change continues to intensify, bringing stronger typhoons, heatwaves, and shifting weather patterns, the work of environmental scientists becomes more crucial than ever. We study how these changes affect not just humans, but also the delicate balance of our ecosystems and wildlife.

As we face the impacts of Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) and prepare for the approaching Typhoon Uwan, we are once again reminded of the growing effects of climate change, stronger storms, shifting weather patterns, and the silent suffering of our ecosystems. These are not just natural events; they are urgent calls to act.

🌏Environmental Science teaches us to study, understand, and respond to these challenges from extreme weather to wildlife loss, helping build a future that is safer and more sustainable for all living things.

Environmental Science isn’t just a course, it’s a calling. A commitment to become stewards of God’s creation, defenders of nature, and seekers of truth in a changing world. A mission to be stewards of God’s creation, defenders of wildlife, and scientists for the future of our planet.

🌱 The Earth needs more minds that care, question, and act.
The world needs more Environmental Scientists like us; and it could be you.
