May 8–9, 2026 | Biñan City

On May 8–9, 2026, participants from across Biñan City will gather for two days of intensive learning and practical training focused on emergency preparedness, lifesaving skills, and community service.

This meaningful initiative is brought to you by City Mayor Angelo B. Alonte through the Biñan City Youth and Sports Development Office, in continuous commitment to youth empowerment, public safety, and community resilience.

Joining this year’s Life Savers Bootcamp are participants from various youth and civic organizations, including the Barkada Kontra Droga Officers of DepEd Schools, Barangay Youth Representatives, Trimex Health Emergency Response Unit, Biñan Youth for DRRM, Manila Bay Youth Environmental Council, and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

More than just a training program, Life Savers Bootcamp is a platform where knowledge is strengthened, confidence is built, and teamwork is developed—preparing the youth to respond effectively during emergencies and become responsible leaders in times of need.

Through hands-on activities, rescue simulations, and first aid sessions, participants will gain valuable skills that can help save lives and make a difference in their communities.

Together, let us build a safer, stronger, and more prepared Biñan through empowered and service-driven youth.

🌍 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 🌱

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝐮𝐬 that 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 for our 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒕 starts with simple ᥲᥴ𝗍і᥆ᥒs. In our own little ways reducing 𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖, saving 𝚠𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚛 💧 and 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 ⚡, and keeping our surroundings 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 we can help make a 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦. 🌿

“𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.”

It may seem smᥲᥣᥣ, but when we all work 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 🤝, it creates a big 𝕚𝕞𝕡𝕒𝕔𝕥. We only have one 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 🌏, so let’s take 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 and 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 it not just 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦, but ᥱ᥎ᥱrᥡ ძᥲᥡ.

Let’s 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙚 doing our 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚝 💚 and 𝕚𝕟𝕤𝕡𝕚𝕣𝕖 others to 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 for the environment too. A cleaner, greener future starts with us. 🌱💪

✨CELEBRATING EARTH DAY 2026🌍 | OUR POWER, OUR PLANET💚🌎

Today, as we mark another Day celebration, we are reminded of one powerful truth: We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we barrow it from our children🌱

Let us all be responsible stewards of God’s creation. From simple acts like proper waste segregation, saving water and electricity, reducing the use of plastics, to planting trees and cleaning our surroundings—every small action creates a big impact. Let us remember that there is no Planet B. We only have ONE Earth, and it is our responsibility to keep it clean, green, and safe for the next generations. 🌳🤝

Let us work hand-in-hand to make a difference. Let’s show our love for nature not just today, but every single day. Together, let’s make our school and community a better place to live in. 🌿💪

Happy Earth Day everyone! Let’s protect our planet, because it protects us all. 🌍💚

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 2.0 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 🗣✈️

Inspiration, passion, and a holistic atmosphere reflected the ambience of leadership among student leaders during a youth leadership event at the Biñan People’s Center Auditorium, held last Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Titled “Divergent 2.0: Ready to Take Off: A Youth Leadership Journey,” the event was led by the Youth and Sports Development Office (YASDO) and targeted the presidents and vice presidents of the Supreme Elementary and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SELG & SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O). It focused on empowering the youth through structured and experiential learning.

Following the meaningful opening remarks delivered by Mr. Mc Larnel R. Aliluran, Youth Development Officer IV, the activity proceeded with a “Pre-Flight Briefing,” which took the form of a panel discussion. The session featured distinguished speakers, namely Hon. Erica Habdosan, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Councilor of Barangay Dela Paz; Mr. Michael James Buno, a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) and Executive Secretary of SIKLAB Langkiwa; Hon. Mae Gonzales, Councilor of Barangay Loma; and Ms. Elle Aspilla, a Gender Equality and Human Rights advocate.

During this juncture, they shared their experiences and journeys as student leaders and how they became the individuals they are today—emphasizing that a 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

The program then continued with the “Pilot Briefing,” where Mr. Amerson Aguinaldo, Cluster Head of the National Youth Commission (NYC) CALABARZON, served as the keynote speaker and discussed “Leadership 101,” which addressed leadership styles and provided a comprehensive review of the Bridging Leadership Frameworks.

For the culminating sessions of the leadership training, participants were divided into two plenary groups. Mr. Mico Llantos, the Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO) of GMA, Cavite, led the “Flight Training” for the elementary level. On the other hand, Mr. Lief Jezreel Reyes, LYDO of San Mateo, Rizal, facilitated the session for the secondary level.

Underscoring the essence of unity, growth, and service, 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝟐.𝟎 𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨—𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩.

As they take flight beyond the event, these young leaders are now better equipped to inspire change, foster collaboration, and become catalysts of transformation within their respective schools and communities.
