Feast of San Isidro Labrador | May 25
San Isidro Labrador Parish - Salvacion, Bayugan City
Today, we celebrate the Feast of San Isidro Labrador, the humble farmer and patron saint of laborers and peasants. Born in Madrid, Spain in the 12th century, San Isidro was known for his deep faith, generosity, and miraculous works, including angels seen plowing the fields in his stead as he prayed. His life reminds us of the dignity of hard work and the power of prayer in everyday life.
Prayer to San Isidro
San Isidro, faithful servant of God, bless our fields, our work, and our homes. Intercede for us that we may live with humility, patience, and trust in God’s grace. May our daily labor bring fruit not only to the earth, but also to our spirits. Amen.
