🌺 𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗛𝗔! 🥥 The vibrant spirit of the islands took over as the 𝗕𝗦 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝟯 students transformed their venue into a tropical paradise for their 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆! It was a day filled with 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 and 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 as they took on the challenge of their 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, showcasing their culinary and service skills. From the refreshing aesthetic to the 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, they truly brought the heat and proved they are ready for the industry! 🍽️✨

Everyone enjoyed a delicious 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝘁 that they carefully planned and prepared themselves. The hawaiian-inspired menu was a huge hit and featured these mouth-watering dishes:

Each group made sure that the meals served were not only delicious and creative, but also 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 for their evaluators. 🥗✨
The event was evaluated by respected professors Jennifer T. Ferrer, Lourdes T. Capua, Teresita B. Barangay, Ma. Teresa A. Fulgencio, Florie Jean C. Vicente, together with their 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿, Ma’am Maria Fema S. Aquino. 👩‍🏫📚

CHE Holds Strategic Workshop on Strategic Leadership, Succession Planning and Institutional Framework Development
Faculty, staff, and selected student leaders of the College of Human Ecology (CHE) convened on April 23, 2026, for a seminar-workshop titled “Redesigning the Future of CHE: A Workshop on Framework Development, Strategic Leadership, and Succession Planning” held at Tam-an Mountain Resort and Hotel, Busilac, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
The activity aimed to strengthen institutional direction through strategic leadership, succession planning, and the development of a responsive and future-ready college framework. It brought together key stakeholders to collaboratively reflect, plan, and align the College’s goals with emerging academic and societal demands.
Highlighting the workshop were three resource speakers who provided essential insights into academic leadership and sustainability. Prof. Arvin P. Vallesteros discussed strategic leadership in the academe, emphasizing the need to navigate innovation while maintaining excellence and institutional stability. Asst. Prof. Carla G. Jimena followed with a session on succession planning, underscoring its critical role in ensuring leadership continuity in state universities.
Asst. Prof. Ron Jay Danggalan led the session on institutional framework development, guiding participants in co-creating a structure that supports a resilient and future-ready academic unit. Prior to his formal lecture on crafting institutional framework, he invited Dean Rhea L. Adriatico to briefly discuss the historical development of the College. She emphasized that understanding the institution’s roots and purpose is vital in designing a meaningful and responsive framework, noting that a clear sense of origin helps shape a stronger direction for the future.
The workshop also included participation from representatives of the CHE Students Council, the Organization of Hospitality Management Students, the Alliance of Tourism Innovators, and the NVSU Philippine Association of Nutrition, ensuring that student perspectives were integrated into the planning process.
The activity concluded with a synthesis session and a renewed commitment from faculty, staff, and student leaders to apply the strategies discussed in strengthening the College’s programs, leadership pipeline, and overall institutional direction.
