Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies - Transportation Science Society of the Philippines

The Organization is affiliated with East Asia Society for Transportation Studies (EASTS) and Transportation Science Society of the Philippines (TSSP).

The objectives of the Organization are:

(a)To promote and support interests of Engineering students of Nueva Vizcaya State University in Transportation research;
(b)To give importance to Transportation Research and pursue a career in Transp

ortation Engineering. (c)To advance professional practice in the field of transportation; and
(d)To keep updated about the latest technology in transportation. (e)To build good future leaders.

The following activities shall be undertaken:

(a) Promotion of Research Activities
(b) Publication of Journal and Proceedings
(c) Conduct of symposia, seminars, conferences and workshops. (d) Exchange of knowledge and information
(e) Pursuit of other activities to attain the objectives of the Organization.

All Regular Members shall have the following rights and privileges:
(a) To participate in all deliberations and meetings of the Organization
(b) To have access to all of the facilities of the Organization; and
(c) To examine all the records or books of the Organization during business hours.

With grit, discipline, and unity, Unit 2 – Erudite delivered a strong showing throughout Sportsfest 2026, leaving its mark across the various events and competitions held on August 12, 2026.

Across the different events, Erudite consistently showcased the skills and determination of its athletes. Each hard-fought match and every point earned became a reflection of collective effort, dedication and perseverance that carried us through the competition.

As the games came to an end, Erudite left the Sportsfest with a performance that needed no grand declaration to be remembered. The effort was seen, the victories were felt and the mark was undeniably made.

Congratulations to all the Unit 2 athletes, supporters, EASTS-TSSP NVSU SC officers, and facilitators who contributed to making this year's Sportsfest a memorable and meaningful one. Your dedication, effort, and support truly made a difference throughout the competition. 🏆💙

According to 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐈𝐈: 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐕𝐒𝐔 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐒-𝐓𝐒𝐒𝐏
Section 2.1 Classification of Membership
As defined in Sections 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4, membership in the organization has two classes as follows:
a) Regular Student Members; and
b) Associate Student Members

Section 2.2 Regular Student Members
Regular student members are defined as the students in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Nueva Vizcaya State University-Bayombong Campus. Membership shall be 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 to 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Moreover, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 for membership.

Section 2.3 Associate Student Members
Associate student members are defined as any student in the engineering programs of Nueva Vizcaya State University – Bayombong Campus, including Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

Section 2.4 Qualification of Student Members
Must be an enrolled engineering student.

Section 2.5 Rights of Members
All members shall have the following rights and privileges:
a) To participate in all deliberations, meetings, and activities hosted by the organization;
b) To have access to all of the facilities of the organization and its services such as peer tutoring, and copyright and research consultation;
c) To examine all the records or books of the organization during business hours;
d) To enjoy discount perks to sponsors and other market partners; and
e) To have access to EASTS-TSSP Online Library/Digistacks;

The Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies - Transportation Science Society of the Philippines NVSU Student Chapter (EASTS - TSSP NVSU SC) has been officially re-accredited for the Academic Year 2026-2027, reaffirming its status as a recognized student organization of Nueva Vizcaya State University.

Following the fulfillment of accreditation requirements, qualifications, and standards, EASTS - TSSP NVSU SC was granted the authority to continue its operations and implement its proposed plans, projects, and activities for this academic year.

Moving forward, the organization remains dedicated to carry out another year of impactful service and student-centered initiatives, continuing its mission of empowering future Civil Engineers.
