February 25, 2026 — The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Visayas State University officially opened VetMed Week 2026 with a lively parade and opening ceremonies that set the tone for a competitive week ahead.

During the program, Deathstalker Scorpions won the Cheer Competition, Obsidian Scarabs took the Flag Competition title, and Vicious Sicarius emerged victorious in the Hero Competition.
