This is our humble way of recognizing and thanking everyone who supported MFC Youth Baybay in attending the World Youth Congress 2026 in Baguio City.

Thank you for generously sharing your blessings and for warmly accepting every solicitation from our youth. As we always say, "Di mi makaabot sa Baguio kung wala inyong tabang pinansyal."

Please know that every amount you gave, no matter how big or small, means so much to each one of us.

May the Lord and our Blessed Mother, Mama Mary, continue to bless you abundantly.

🎶 We’re rooted and built up…

On April 17–19, 2026, representatives from Baybay MFC Youth traveled to Baguio City to take part in the World Youth Congress 2026.

Despite the many hurdles and struggles along the way, we went there with hearts ready—to meet fellow youth from different places, and most of all, to encounter God through the various activities.

We all came from different places, carrying different stories, yet somehow, we found each other there—and it truly felt like a “home away from home.”

As we returned, we brought with us this baon: BUILD
• B – Bringing our battles to Christ
• U – Uniting with Christ daily through prayer and the Eucharist
• I – Illuminating inner darkness
• L – Lifting others up
• D – Defending one another as one community

Thank you to everyone who made this encounter so meaningful!

To the service team who gave their all to keep us engaged throughout the three-day congress—thank you. Because of your creativity and dedication, we were able to bring home valuable lessons and learnings.

Through all of you, we are truly rooted and built up!

Roots before Fruits!

From the MFC Youth West Leyte, thank you so much to everyone who supported us on our journey to Baguio City!

Above all, we thank God for the grace of being part of the World Youth Congress 2026. During those days, we truly experienced what it means to be rooted and built up in Him—through inspiring talks, meaningful sessions, and enriching workshops that helped us grow individually and as a community. Indeed, as Colossians 2:6–7 reminds us, we are called to remain firm in our faith and overflow with gratitude.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without our generous Titos and Titas from West Leyte, our sponsors, and everyone who helped ensure our safe and smooth travel. Because of you, we were able to focus on what truly matters—encountering God.

To our Ates and Kuyas who took on the responsibility, thank you for guiding and assisting us as servant leaders.

And to all the youth who joined—thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and love for God. You continue to inspire hope for the future.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. May God bless you all abundantly! 🤍

Praise God for the successful heart setting of the MFC Youths of Baybay Chapter, Visca Chapter, and Plaridel Chapter.

All hearts are set to welcome His Word and will for the upcoming World Youth Congress.

We learned to let go of closed hearts, performance mindsets, fear, and low expectations. Instead, we are challenged to BE OPEN:

O - Own your experience
P - Pause and listen
E - Express freely
N - Nurture what you receive

Let us meditate on His Word and set aside everything so we can serve and love Him with undivided attention.

Join us for our Lenten Recollection: A Call to Radical Conversion, inspired by Christ’s words:
“I am the Vine and you are the Branches” (John 15:1–11).

Let this be a sacred time to reconnect with God, be renewed in His love, and deepen your relationship with Him. More than outward change, this recollection calls us to a true inner transformation of the heart.

With Rev. Fr. Vicondy Von Evangelista III as our speaker, may this gathering lead us closer to Christ and inspire us to bear abundant spiritual fruit.
