🍎🌽 Nutrition Month Celebration 2026 | Child Development Center of Barangay Balete 🥦🍓

Malampuson nga gisaulog karong adlawa ang Nutrition Month Celebration sa Child Development Center of Barangay Balete pinaagi sa Nutrition Costume Parade, diin ang atong mga kabataan nagpakita ug nagpasabot sa ilang mga costume nga nagrepresentar sa healthy ug nutritious nga pagkaon. Gipasundayag usab nila ang ilang talento pinaagi sa pag-awit sa "Bahay Kubo," ug gisundan kini sa Healthy Cooking Contest, diin ang mga ginikanan nagluto ug masustansyang pagkaon nga gipangambit sa tibuok klase.

Dako kaayong pasalamat kang CDW Ms. Babie Jean Ganadillo sa iyang dedikasyon ug kakugi aron mahimong malampuson ang maong kalihokan. Daghang salamat usab sa atong mga judges— Committee on Health Chairman Barangay Kagawad Hon. Carl Dupalco, SK Kagawad Mhyke Gutierrez, ug Punong Barangay Hon. Elvy B. Jucom—sa ilang panahon ug suporta.

Espesyal nga pasalamat kang Committee on Education Chairman Hon. Karla GD sa paghatag sa gamay apan bililhon nga mga premyo, ug sa SK-Balete Council nga gipangulohan ni SK Chairman Paul Castrodes sa paghatag ug healthy snacks.

Labaw sa tanan, daghang salamat sa atong mga ginikanan sa inyong oras, paningkamot, ug aktibong partisipasyon sa tanang kalihokan. Ang inyong suporta ug kooperasyon maoy usa sa mga hinungdan sa kalampusan sa maong selebrasyon.

NUTRI-MEAL PROGRAM | Nutrition Month 2026 🥗💚

As part of the celebration of Nutrition Month, the Barangay Balete Nutri-Meal Program was successfully conducted for the learners of the Child Development Center (CDC) Balete. This meaningful initiative aims to promote healthy eating habits and proper nutrition among our young children, helping them grow healthier and stronger.

This activity was led by our Punong Barangay, Hon. Elvy B. Jucom, together with the Committee on Health Chairman Barangay Kagawad Hon. Carl Dupalco, with the support of the Barangay Council, and also the generous sponsorship of our SK Chairman Paul Castrodes, whose contribution helped make this meaningful activity possible.

May this program continue to inspire our community to prioritize the health and well-being of every child, because a well-nourished child is a brighter future for Barangay Balete.

SUCCESSFUL MOST RESILIENT BARANGAY EVALUATION | July 20, 2026

Today, Barangay Balete successfully concluded the Most Resilient Barangay Evaluation. This milestone reflects the unity, dedication, and bayanihan spirit of every Bayabasnon in Barangay Balete.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Regional Evaluation Team and MHSO of Municipality of Bayabas; for your time, guidance, and fair assessment. Daghang salamat usab sa atong Punong Barangay, Hon. Elvy B. Jucom, for his strong leadership and unwavering support throughout the preparation and evaluation.

A special appreciation goes to our Barangay Council, who worked tirelessly for several weeks in their respective districts and puroks. Pinaagi sa ilang house-to-house visits, ilang gi-engganyo ang matag panimalay nga moapil, motuman sa mga requirements, ug gitabangan ang komunidad sa pag-address sa mga kakulangan aron maandam ang tanan alang sa evaluation.

Daghang salamat usab sa atong Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), Barangay Tanods, BNS, Purok Presidents, volunteers, ug sa tanang nagtinabangay sa pag-assist sa evaluators ug sa pag-organisa sa maong kalihokan.

Labaw sa tanan, among kinasingkasing nga pasalamat sa tanang katawhan sa Barangay Balete. Salamat sa inyong aktibong partisipasyon, kooperasyon, ug pag-comply sa tanang kinahanglanon sa evaluation. Ang inyong suporta ug pagtinabangay maoy dakong hinungdan nganong nahimong malampuson ang maong kalihokan.

This achievement belongs to all of us. Padayon ta sa pagtinabangay ug pagpalig-on sa atong barangay aron mahimong mas andam, mas lig-on, ug mas malungtaron nga komunidad.

Pabasa sa Nutrisyon 2026 | Day 1 & 2

As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration 2026, the Barangay Council of Balete, led by Punong Barangay Hon. Elvy B. Jucom, successfully conducted the 2-Day Pabasa sa Nutrisyon 2026 for couples residing in Barangay Balete.

The activity equipped participants with valuable knowledge on proper nutrition through informative lectures and engaging learning sessions. Couples also showcased their creativity and commitment to healthy family living through a Healthy Cooking Contest, featuring nutritious and child-friendly meals that promote better health and proper nutrition for every household.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the support of our generous sponsors: Barangay Council of Balete, Municipal Nutrition Action Office (MNAO) thru Ma’am Leonida Dalayan, SK-Balete Chairperson Hon. Paul Castrodes, as well as our Barangay Kagawad Committee on Health Chairperson Hon. Carl Dupalco and our BNS Maria Fe Maquiling for their very hands-on support in this event, and all partners and individuals who contributed to the success of this program.

As part of the Adopt-a-Child Program, the Barangay Council of Balete headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Elvy B. Jucom conducted its quarterly distribution of healthy goods to underweight children.

Joint Benchmarking Activity on Disaster Preparedness

The Barangay Officials of Barangay Balete, together with Barangay Magobawok, conducted a joint benchmarking activity in Barobo, Surigao del Sur to learn from the municipality's best practices in the MDRRMO.The delegation also visited Barangays Tambis and Bahi to observe disaster preparedness and resilience initiatives in communities prone to natural calamities.

The activity was accompanied by Ms. Bella C. Decena, MLGOO of the Municipality of Bayabas, whose guidance emphasized the importance of collaboration in strengthening local disaster risk reduction and management.

Together, we continue to learn, improve, and build safer, more resilient communities.

Jucom, proudly participated in the Parade and Kick-Off Ceremony and Opening Program of Brigada Eskwela SY 2026 at Bayabas Central Elementary School.
