🌱 A meaningful step forward for Zamboanga Sibugay.

We’re glad to see the KGMC community, Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, PGE volunteers and fellow partners come together for this mangrove planting activity in Kabasalan.

1,500 mangrove seedlings planted 🌱🌱🌱 helping strengthen coastal ecosystems while supporting the wider vision for the Zamboanga Sibugay Floating Pavilion Project.

🎉 Seven years. One global community. One unforgettable celebration. 🇵🇭🌍

Philippine Global Explorers recently celebrated its 7th Founding Anniversary at Heroes Hotel Manila, bringing together members, associates, friends, Philippine Travel Masters, volunteers, and supporters for an evening of games, laughter, recognition, and community.

Despite the heavy rain, our PGE family showed up and made the evening one to remember. 💙

From our SPORTS-themed Team Eala, Team Yulo, and Team Diaz, to celebrating our first Gabay Scholarship graduate, recognising remarkable Philippine Travel Masters, welcoming new PGE Associates, and simply enjoying being together, the evening reminded us what PGE is ultimately about: people, connection, and shared purpose.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our event sponsors, contributors, and everyone who helped bring the celebration together.

Where Lakbay Aral began. 💙🌏

Back in 2023, PGE held its very first Lakbay Aral in Baguio City with the young people of Purple Community Fund and Upskills+ Foundation Inc.

This video takes us back to that first journey and to the heartfelt messages of the children who experienced it.

Three years later, it remains a beautiful reminder of why education through travel matters.

The first PGE Gabay Scholar just graduated 🇵🇭

Meet Justin “Jaja” Carangan, the first-ever scholar of the PGE Gabay Scholarship Programme to reach graduation. After years of hard work, determination, and perseverance, Jaja has officially earned her Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Richwell Colleges in Bulacan.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of what can happen when deserving Filipino students are given the support they need to continue their education.

The PGE Gabay Scholarship was created to help Filipino students pursuing tourism, hospitality, international studies, and related fields, not only through financial assistance, but also through mentorship, professional connections, OJT opportunities, and pathways to employment.

Today, we celebrate Jaja.
Tomorrow, we hope to celebrate many more.

Jaja is the first. Let’s help the next Gabay Scholar reach the graduation stage. 🎓

🎉 Still celebrating seven years of exploring with purpose. 🌍🇵🇭

On 28 July 2026, The Philippine Global Explorers marked its 7th Founding Anniversary, seven years of connecting Filipino travellers through exploration, education, service, advocacy, and community. What began as a small gathering in 2019 has grown into a wider movement built around purposeful travel and the belief that our experiences can create value beyond ourselves.

Over the years, PGE has continued to support initiatives in education, community outreach, environmental action, responsible tourism and recognition of Filipino travellers making an impact both at home and abroad.

Behind every project and milestone are the people who make PGE what it is today: our members, volunteers, leaders, partners, donors and supporters.

As we continue celebrating this milestone, we look back with gratitude and move forward with an even stronger commitment to explore, connect and give back.
