We proudly cheer on our members as they head to Sibuyan Island, often called the “Galápagos of Asia” for its extraordinary biodiversity and largely untouched ecosystems.
In the coming days, they will take on the ascent of Mount Guiting-Guiting, one of the most technically demanding climbs in the Philippines. With dense forest, knife-edge ridges, steep rock faces, exposed sections, unpredictable weather, and near 90-degree vertical climbs, this mountain demands preparation, experience, and deep respect.
This is more than a climb. Together with PGE, and with support from MTP - Most Traveled People ,they carry a shared purpose: to advocate for the protection and preservation of Sibuyan Island’s rare biodiversity. At the summit, they will unfurl a banner to give voice to this mission and stand in solidarity with local communities working to protect their island.
We celebrate these two women for stepping forward—not only to take on a challenging climb, but to represent stewardship, courage, and purpose.
Let’s cheer them on. 💚
