The Psych Society, in partnership with Raniag ken Boses iti Agtutubo - La Union, successfully conducted the project, โ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ฌ: ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ค๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐จ ๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐๐โ at Barangay Poro, City of San Fernando, La Union.
The activity served as a platform to deepen the community's understanding of mental health, challenge misconceptions, and encourage a culture of empathy, support, and open dialogue.
Through discussions on psychological hygiene, seeking help, and fostering supportive environments, participants were reminded that mental health is not a topic to be feared or hidden but a reality that deserves understanding and compassion.
As we observe Men's Mental Health Month this June, this initiative also serves as a reminder that everyoneโincluding men and young boysโdeserves spaces where they can express their emotions without fear of judgment. Strength is not measured by silence, and seeking help is never a sign of weakness.
This initiative is one of the projects supported through the Search for La Union Youth Champions (LUYC) 2025 Project Grant, demonstrating how youth-led initiatives can foster conversations that inspire understanding, promote empathy, and build communities where no one feels alone in their struggles.
Because every mind matters, every story deserves to be heard, and every person deserves a community that chooses understanding over judgment. ๐ป
