The Rotaract Club of Batangas Metro Pioneers proudly celebrates RAC Here! Rehabilitation Advancement for Communities: A Holistic Approach to Empowerment as an Exemplary Project Finalist under Disease Prevention and Treatment at the GEAR Awards 2026, held on May 09, 2026 at General Santos City. The event was attended by Charter President and Club Adviser Charlene Arriola, who also received the Lady of the Night award during the ceremony.

RAC Here! was created to bridge the gap in rehabilitation awareness and access in Batangas by bringing physical therapy education, guided exercises, and community based rehabilitation closer to those who need it most. Through lectures, demonstrations, home based routines, monitoring tools, and continuing care, the project empowers PWDs, elderly individuals, children with special needs, and persons recovering from illness or injury to improve their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

This recognition is more than an award. It is a reminder that rehabilitation is not only about treatment, but about restoring hope, dignity, movement, and confidence within communities.

We are grateful to everyone who believed in this vision and helped bring RAC Here! to life. This is only the beginning as we continue advancing rehabilitation awareness, one community at a time. 💗

Day 3 wraps up our “𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗣𝗢!” initiative with grateful hearts. Over the past days, we were able to continue sharing rice, vegetables, water, coffee, noodles, and other basic necessities with our jeepney drivers and riders—simple support, but given with genuine 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this initiative possible, and to our drivers and riders for the conversations, smiles, and trust you shared with us along the way.

While this may be the last day of this project, it doesn’t end here for us. We’ll carry this forward and continue finding ways to support and serve in the future.

Day 2 of our “𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗣𝗢!” initiative was filled with gratitude as we continued this journey of 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 and 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵 alongside our jeepney drivers and riders. Each exchange, each smile, and each “𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘰” reminded us why this initiative matters.

More than the items distributed, it is the shared connection and presence that made today truly meaningful. Sa kabila ng pagod at hirap, we are grateful to stand with them, even in our own small ways. 🤍

As we move forward, we carry with us the stories and strength we witnessed today—𝗳𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 our hearts as we prepare for the final day of this initiative.

Here’s a glimpse of 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 as we officially launched our “𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗔 𝗣𝗢!” initiative—an effort grounded in 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 and 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵 for our jeepney drivers and riders.

Through this activity, we were able to share simple yet meaningful support—distributing vegetables, water, coffee, noodles, and other basic necessities to help ease, even in small ways, the burden they carry each day. 🤍

Behind every photo is a story of resilience, quiet strength, and the reality of those who continue to move our communities forward despite rising fuel costs. And in each small act of giving, we are reminded that compassion—no matter how simple—can go a long way.
