On July 14, 2024, the Scouts Royale Brotherhood International Service Fraternity and Sorority, Inc. (SRB) Bato Integrated Chapters, in collaboration with Dr. Bro. Daryl Zorilla and Hon. Mayor Bro. Domingo L. Zorilla Jr., hosted a successful Free Operation Tuli (Circumcision) event at LRV Gymnasium, Tres Reyes, Bato, Camarines Sur. The event was further bolstered by the invaluable assistance of nursing students from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC).
This initiative was designed to provide free circumcision services to the young boys of the municupality, emphasizing the importance of health and hygiene. It also highlighted the ongoing commitment of SRB to community service and health outreach.
Dr. Bro. Daryl Zorilla, a general surgeon and a renowned medical professional, led the medical team, ensuring each procedure was conducted safely and professionally. The CSPC nursing students provided crucial support, assisting in medical preparations and post-operative care. Their involvement not only facilitated a smoother operation but also gave them hands-on experience in a real-world medical setting.
Hon. Mayor Bro. Domingo L. Zorilla Jr. expressed his deep appreciation for the SRB Bato Integrated Chapters and the CSPC nursing students for their dedication and hard work. He reiterated his support for such initiatives, which play a vital role in promoting community health and well-being.
The event saw a significant turnout, with many families from nearby areas bringing their children to benefit from the free service. The gymnasium was bustling with activity as volunteers from SRB and CSPC worked together seamlessly to ensure the event's success.
Parents expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to have their children circumcised in a safe and professional environment. This event not only provided an essential health service but also strengthened community bonds through shared efforts and cooperation.
SRB Bato Integrated Chapters, known for their unwavering dedication to public service, once again demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact on their community.
