A Soroptimist Week Initiative of SI CalDeTaal

As part of our celebration of Soroptimist Week, SI CalDeTaal, in partnership with the San Luis Agritourism Program, joined the celebration of the 65th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of San Luis by extending meaningful support to local farmers and vendors through 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙇𝙐𝙄𝙎𝘼.

The initiative focused on providing 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝙆𝙞𝙩𝙨 containing practical tools to help local entrepreneurs with selling, record-keeping, and financial literacy. Beyond the material support, our members gave their time, presence, and encouragement throughout the bazaar — standing alongside the farmers and vendors as they proudly shared their products, stories, and livelihoods with the community.

For Soroptimists, service is more than giving — it is about 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩. Through 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙅𝙀𝘾𝙏 𝙇𝙐𝙄𝙎𝘼, we hope to contribute to a stronger culture of inclusive entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, and community cooperation.

On August 15, 2026, Soroptimist International CalDeTaal members came together for a meaningful kamustahan and mentoring session.

It was a simple yet valuable time to reconnect, listen, share experiences, and learn from one another. Through honest conversations and thoughtful mentoring, we were reminded of the importance of being present, supportive, and intentional in helping each other grow.

Soroptimist International CalDeTaal successfully held its General Monthly Meeting on July 25, 2026, under the inspiring theme, "Milestone and Momentum." The gathering served as an opportunity to reflect on the club's accomplishments, celebrate significant milestones, and recognize the collective efforts of every member in advancing our mission of transforming the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and service.

As we look back on the progress we have made, we also look ahead with renewed purpose and determination. Guided by our shared vision and strengthened by the spirit of fellowship, we remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities, fostering positive change, and making a lasting impact in our communities.
