(๐™‡๐™š๐™–๐™ง๐™ฃ, ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง๐™ข, ๐™‚๐™š๐™ฉ ๐™๐™š๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™™, ๐˜ผ๐™˜๐™ฉ ๐™Ž๐™–๐™›๐™š๐™ก๐™ฎ) a community-driven initiative dedicated to creating lasting impact through awareness, education, and service.

This outreach is not just a one-day activity it is a commitment to uplift, empower, and protect lives, especially among vulnerable and underserved communities. Through this initiative, we aim to provide accessible HIV education, free and confidential testing, and supportive counseling, ensuring that every individual is given the opportunity to know their status and take control of their health.

We believe that education is a powerful tool that saves lives. By promoting accurate information and encouraging open, judgment-free conversations, we aim to break misconceptions, reduce stigma, and eliminate discrimination. Creating safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and respected is at the heart of this advocacy.

Through Project L.I.G.T.A.S., we are building a community that chooses awareness over fear, compassion over judgment, and action over silence.

Kasama natin sa misyong ito ang Espasyo by Wagayway Equality and the Equality Desk, who continuously work to provide safe, inclusive, and accessible services for all.

Kilalanin natin ang Batch 1 ng Xaraya

Sila ang unang grupo na naging bahagi ng pagbuo ng Xaraya at nagsilbing foundation ng aming layunin at adbokasiya. As the pioneer group, sila ang unang tumindig at nagbigay buhay sa misyon ng outreach, education, at solidarity within the community.

In partnership and support with Espasyo by Wagayway Equality, Batch 1 actively helps in activities related to HIV testing, counseling, client assistance, and health education support services. They assist in creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients, ensuring that individuals feel supported, respected, and free from judgment while accessing services.

Sa bawat activity, Batch 1 members are exposed to real community work assisting during testing flow, supporting counseling sessions, guiding clients, and helping maintain a safe and organized space. Through these experiences, they gain deeper understanding of HIV awareness, public health services, and the importance of confidentiality, compassion, and proper information dissemination.

Their field experiences helped them realize the value of empathy, teamwork, responsibility, and accurate communication when working with communities and vulnerable populations.

Batch 1 of Xaraya proved that real learning happens through action, and meaningful change begins when young people choose to serve, listen, and actively engage in the community.
