The Waling-Waling orchid, known as the "Queen of Philippine Orchids," is a beautiful and culturally significant flower in the Philippines, but it is critically endangered due to habitat loss and illegal poaching. Protecting the Waling-Waling is essential not only for preserving biodiversity but also for maintaining the balance of ecosystems and honoring Filipino heritage.

Current conservation efforts include habitat protection in Mindanao, legal measures against poaching, and community education and involvement in conservation projects. Individuals can help by spreading awareness and supporting conservation initiatives.
