05032023 National Heritage Month - Sketchwalk | Event Highlights
In collaboration with the United Architects of the Philippines - Batangas Chapter and NHCP Museo nina Leon at Galicano Apacible, we celebrated the National Heritage Month last May 3, 2026, in the historic town of Taal, Batangas.
The event featured a Cultural Mapping Seminar and Heritage Appreciation with our esteemed speaker, Ar. Ariel Dela Cruz, who shared valuable insights on the importance of understanding, documenting, and preserving our cultural and architectural heritage.
The seminar was followed by a sketchwalk, allowing participants to experience and appreciate the historic streets, structures, and stories of Taal through the art of urban sketching.
The event concluded with the traditional “Latag” of Urban Sketchers, where participants gathered to share their sketches, experiences, and appreciation for the heritage of Taal.
We are truly grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a meaningful celebration of our heritage.
We look forward to seeing you again in our upcoming events as we continue to draw, document, and celebrate our heritage through art.
