𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

We would like to inform everyone that the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Tinga Labak has been relatively inactive in terms of activities and projects over the past few weeks. We understand that many of our constituents have noticed the absence of programs and events, and we believe it is important to provide clarity regarding the situation.

Last June 2026, our SK Treasurer formally stepped down from the position. Since then, we have been working to appoint a new SK Treasurer.

However, under Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, as amended by Republic Act No. 11768, the SK Treasurer is required to possess a TESDA National Certificate in Bookkeeping or an equivalent qualification.

At present, we have not yet identified a qualified individual who meets this requirement. We have also coordinated with TESDA regarding the bookkeeping course, but we were informed that the program requires a specific number of enrollees before it can proceed. Unfortunately, this requirement has not yet been met, causing further delays in the certification process.

As a result, the SK Council is currently unable to process and release funds for activities and projects, as the SK Treasurer plays a vital role in the management and disbursement of SK funds. While we are eager to continue serving the youth and implementing programs for our community, we are committed to following the proper legal procedures and government regulations to ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with the law.

We kindly ask for your understanding and patience during this time. Please be assured that the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak is actively working to resolve this matter and restore the regular implementation of our programs and activities as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak strongly condemns the threatening, disrespectful, and malicious comments made by the individual behind the social media account previously known as 𝗝𝗔𝗬𝗝𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗢 and now operating under the name 𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢 𝗔𝗬𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘. These actions, which include direct threats against SK Officials and personal attacks directed toward one of our members through various online comments, are completely unacceptable and have no place in a respectful and responsible community.

We remain committed to serving the youth and the people of Barangay Tinga Labak with integrity, professionalism, and respect. While we welcome constructive criticism and healthy discussions, we will not tolerate threats, harassment, intimidation, or any form of personal attacks against our officials and volunteers.

In response to these incidents, we have already filed the appropriate case and have formally referred the matter to the proper authorities. An ongoing investigation is currently being conducted to identify and hold accountable the individual responsible for these actions. We are fully cooperating with the authorities and are prepared to pursue all available legal remedies to ensure that justice is served.

We urge everyone to practice responsible use of social media and to engage in discussions with respect and civility. Let this serve as a reminder that online actions have real consequences, and no one is above accountability.

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak remains steadfast in its mission to serve the youth despite these challenges. We will continue to uphold the values of respect, accountability, and community service while taking the necessary steps to protect our officials, volunteers, and the integrity of our organization.

📚✨ PROJECT SKOLAHERO ✨📚

Since the beginning of our term, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak has remained committed to supporting the educational journey of our youth. We firmly believe that education is one of the most powerful tools in building a brighter future, which is why initiatives that promote learning and academic success continue to be among our priorities.

Through Project SKolahero, we aim to provide assistance and encouragement to deserving young individuals who continue to strive for their dreams. This program serves as a reminder that the SK is not only dedicated to organizing activities but also to creating opportunities that help empower and uplift the youth of our barangay.

The beneficiaries of this program are qualified youth who actively participate in community and youth activities and have successfully complied with the necessary requirements. More than a form of assistance, this project is an investment in the future leaders, professionals, and changemakers of Tinga Labak.

As we continue our service, expect more programs and initiatives that promote education, youth development, and community involvement. Together, let us build a generation that is empowered, inspired, and ready to make a difference.

📚✨ The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tinga Labak proudly took part in Project SIKAP, a meaningful initiative facilitated by Tinga Sorosoro Integrated School last June 4, 2026.

As part of the program, SK officials led engaging reading activities and interactive learning sessions with the students, encouraging them to develop a love for reading, strengthen their literacy skills, and build confidence in expressing themselves. Through this simple yet impactful activity, we continue to support educational development and inspire our young learners to strive for a brighter future.

This is only one of the many initiatives that the Sangguniang Kabataan has undertaken—and will continue to undertake—for the benefit of the youth of Barangay Tinga Labak. We remain committed to creating programs and opportunities that promote learning, leadership, community involvement, and personal growth among our kabataan.

Stay informed, stay involved, and be part of our future activities. Follow our page for updates and announcements. Together, let us build a more empowered and progressive youth community! 💙💛
