The Tourism Management Society supports Activity 3 of the PAMANA Program under CABEIHM, BatStateU TNEU ARASOF-Nasugbu.

On May 18, 2026, Tourism Value Chain for Educators will be held at the Taal Livelihood Center, BatStateU TNEU ARASOF-Nasugbu campus.

This activity highlights how educators, residents, youth, and the wider community can help strengthen heritage education, documentation, and preservation in Nasugbu.

Educators, contribute. Residents, document. Youth, learn. Community, protect and preserve.

Though we are already halfway through the program, we continue to welcome support for the PAMANA Program as we consolidate our efforts for our shared heritage.

Last May 9, 2026, our future tourism and hospitality professionals took another step toward industry readiness through a meaningful learning session on professionalism, communication, workplace etiquette, and service excellence with our esteemed resource speaker, Ms. Shiela F. Laguerta! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‘

With more than 20 years of combined experience in hospitality, customer service, training, and client support, Ms. Shiela brought with her a wealth of practical industry knowledge shaped by her professional work with Royal Caribbean Group and Resorts World Manila. Her background in guest experience, communication, training development, and service-oriented professionalism made the session especially relevant for students preparing to enter the global tourism and hospitality industry.

The event was attended by invited participants from the Tourism Management Society (TMS) and Hospitality Management Society members. A special invitation was also extended to Colegio de Santo Domingo de Silos students, making the activity a valuable opportunity for cross-campus learning, collaboration, and professional growth. ๐Ÿค

Through her real-world insights, Ms. Shiela emphasized the importance of confidence, proper workplace presence, respectful communication, and client-centered service. These lessons reminded our students that technical knowledge must always be matched with professionalism, courtesy, and the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence.

From understanding the standards of international hospitality to learning how to carry oneself in professional settings, our students gained practical lessons that will surely help them shine as future tourism and hospitality practitioners. ๐Ÿ’ผโœˆ๏ธ
