๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ | LIMA DAYS 2026 comes sailing with an uplifting kick-off anchored on the theme, โBreaking the Waves, Conquering the Tidesโ, symbolizing courage, strength and pursuit of excellence. The celebration starts with a parade of cadets full of pride, discipline, demonstrating oneness and high spirit of maritime tradition, May 5.
Capt. Alexander A. Gonzales, PhD, delivered his opening remarks where he set the tone of this festive and most sought-after occasion. It was followed by an inspirational message from Dr. Cecilla C. Pring, VP for Academics and Research where she gave her hearty congratulations to LIMA on its 50 years of maritime education, its legacy, and continuing commitment to excellence. A congratulatory message by Mr. Frederick C. Badillo, Vice President of Finance, was also heard wherein he recognized the efforts and achievements of the cadets.
The celebration is followed by the LIMA Drillers, as well as the faculty members and admin personnel, then energized the crowd with a snappy and skillful performance, showcasing precision and school pride.
The program concluded with the oath-taking of players and ceremonial toss, which signifies the official start of the games and celebrations.
This four-day LIMA Days celebration is expected to showcase talent, wit, camaraderie, and teamwork of all the cadets.
