Tipas Integrated National High School (TINHS) has named nominees for the BKD Role Model Award, covering all grade levels from 7 to 12. Each grade level features multiple students representing various sections across the school, with every nominee supported and guided by their respective class adviser.

Angel, our candidate for president, emerged as the 3rd runner-up, enchanting everyone with her bewitching charm. Her captivating performance also secured her a spot as a finalist in the Top 5 Talent competition, reflecting her strong leadership potential and creativity.

Adrian, vying for vice president, earned the title of 2nd runner-up and was widely adored as the Darling of the Crowd. His engaging presence and outstanding performance also landed him a position among the Top 5 Talent finalists, highlighting his ability to connect with others.

Together, Angel and Adrian exemplify the spirit of our school, ready to lead with inspiration and dedication.

Judges noted how them incorporated traditional elements into their routine, creating a beautiful fusion that set them apart from the competition. They demonstrated an impressive range of emotion, echoing the themes of their dance with every move. The audience responded enthusiastically, cheering louder with each twist and turn. Confucius brought a refreshing perspective to their performance, blending traditional dance elements with contemporary styles. Their routine was both engaging and thought-provoking, showcasing their ability to think outside the box.

The judges commended them for their originality and creativity, noting how them successfully intertwined various dance styles to create a cohesive and entertaining performance. EARLY BARKADA KONTRA DROGA (BKD) ELECTION SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTED

The Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Organization successfully held its early elections this year, after a comprehensive room-to-room campaign that engaged students across different grade levels. Three partylists stepped forward to compete for leadership positions: Ligtas Partylist, Bida Kabataan Partylist, and Kausaban Partylist.

To ensure all students could participate conveniently, voting was split into two days. On February 5 (Day 1), students from Grades 7 to 9 cast their ballots in designated room, with election committee member guiding them through the process and ensuring order. The following day, February 6 (Day 2), students from Grades 10 to 12 exercised their right to vote, with the same level of care and attention to fairness.

The entire BKD election was a resounding success, made possible through the dedicated leadership of BKD Advisor Joel S. Amisola, who oversaw all preparations and proceedings to maintain transparency and integrity. He was supported by the current BKD President Jonathan B. Yadan, who worked closely with the Election Committee to coordinate logistics, train volunteers, and ensure that every step of the process adhered to the organization’s guidelines. With high student turnout and smooth ex*****on, the election set a strong foundation for BKD’s continued work in keeping the youth away from drugs and building a more responsible community.
