Today, we honor the extraordinary life, courage, and enduring legacy of Bishop Gregorio Aglipay, a true patriot, revolutionary leader, and the first Supreme Bishop (Obispo Maximo) of the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (Philippine Independent Church).

Beyond his role as a religious leader, Aglipay was a champion of national independence who stood firmly alongside the Filipino people during pivotal moments in our nation's history. His commitment to fighting for spiritual freedom and social justice broke barriers and helped forge a distinct identity for the Filipino faith community.

As we commemorate Aglipay Day, let us reflect on his unwavering love for the country, his fierce pursuit of justice, and his belief in self-determination. This verse reminds us that being young does not limit our ability to make a difference. Our age should never stop us from showing kindness, doing what is right, helping others, and becoming a positive example to the people around us.

As we continue to live on as a member of the youth, may we live out these words through the way we speak, the choices we make, the way we treat others, and the values we carry. May we use our youth as an opportunity to learn, grow, serve, and inspire.

Keeping our surroundings clean is not only the responsibility of a few it is a responsibility that belongs to all of us. Every action, such as throwing waste in the proper place, practicing waste segregation, cleaning our surroundings, and avoid littering, can make a meaningful difference in our community.

Change starts with ourselves. We do not have to wait for someone else to take action. By showing discipline, responsibility, and concern for our environment, we can help create a clean, safe and healthy place for everyone.
Let us work together and encourage others to do the same. When we unite and take action, even the smallest efforts can lead to a bigger and lasting change. ๐ŸŒฟโ™ป๏ธ
