Batac Junior College, Inc. truly embraced the spirit of Teachers’ Day as the entire school community came together to honor and appreciate the educators who continue to guide, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of their students. 👩‍🏫✨📚

Through the collaborative efforts of the BJCFEA, SPTA, SSLG, SELG, BJCAA and officers of various interest clubs, with the support of the School Administration, the celebration became even more meaningful. Our learners and parents also took part through simple celebrations, thoughtful gestures, heartfelt messages, and delightful surprises for their teachers. 💐🎁🩵

Each gesture of appreciation made the occasion more special, serving as a heartfelt reminder of the meaningful partnership among the school, its learners, and parents in recognizing the dedication and hard work of our teachers. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫💐❤️

The Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners of Batac Junior College, Inc., in collaboration with GRACE, took the Assessment for Readiness for College and Career (ARC) on September 15, 2026. 🧠📘

‎For a day, our learners got to step into the shoes of the professionals they dream of becoming. From doctors and teachers to other professions, they came dressed as their chosen or dream careers, showing the effort and excitement behind the futures they envision. 👩‍⚕️👨‍🏫👩‍💼👨‍🔬

‎This was part of the 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 held on September 8, 2026, made more meaningful by our 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔 who shared their experiences, insights, and valuable advice to help learners make informed choices about the career paths they wish to pursue.

Before they became the teachers we look up to, they were once learners too—dreaming big, finding their paths, and learning from the people who came before them.

Today, they come from different schools, different experiences, and different beginnings, yet they have found their way to Batac Junior College, Inc. Here, they share not only their knowledge but also their time, patience, guidance, and support.

For Ma’am Marife M. Fuerte, teaching has been a dream since childhood. What she loves most about being a teacher is the opportunity to inspire young minds and be part of their journey. Every day, she is grateful to live out the dream she once had as a child.

Her message to her students is simple yet meaningful: “Grow with Love.” Through her dedication and passion, she reminds her learners that education is not only about gaining knowledge, but also about growing with kindness, purpose, and heart.

🌱 A meaningful career is not always the one we first dreamed of, but the one where we find purpose in serving others.

For Sir Rey Daniel M. Boquerente, BJC is more than just a workplace; it is where he hopes to build his career and continue growing alongside the school community. As the Liaison and Supply Officer, he finds purpose in serving the team and community, making sure that what is needed is available when it is needed, while helping maintain trust and cooperation.

Although becoming a teacher was once a childhood dream, life led him toward a different path. Yet, his desire to guide, inspire, and make a difference in the lives of others never disappeared. Today, he continues to carry that same heart for service through his work, showing that dreams do not always have to come true in the exact form we imagined for them to have meaning.

For Sir Rey Daniel, happiness is about finding purpose wherever life leads. Even without standing in a classroom, he continues to care, guide, help, and support those around him in his own way.

For Ma’am Charlene Kate M. Dahilig, teaching is rewarding because she gets to nurture young minds and witness their little discoveries. Their smiles, curiosity, and growth make every moment in the classroom meaningful and remind her why she loves what she does.

🌱 Teaching becomes meaningful when it creates lasting connections, teaches life beyond the classroom, and reminds us to value both work and the people we love.

For Ma’am Krizia Mae P. Garan, happiness in teaching comes from seeing her students learn, improve, and become better individuals. Watching them understand a lesson, gain confidence, and apply the values she teaches in their daily lives makes her feel that her efforts are truly meaningful.

What she enjoys most about teaching is building meaningful relationships with her students and being part of their growth. Beyond sharing knowledge, she also shares values and life lessons that her learners can carry with them. She treasures as well the experiences, challenges, and memories she has gained alongside fellow teachers and students.

Ma’am Krizia also reminds her students of the importance of balance—to manage responsibilities wisely while making time for the people they love. For her, both work and family are valuable parts of life.
