The MMSU Psyche Society extends its warmest birthday greetings to our esteemed adviser, Ms. Jhoana Marie A. Gacula. We sincerely appreciate your continued guidance, support, and dedication in helping us grow not only as students of Psychology, but also as individuals who strive to make a meaningful contribution to our community.

The MMSU Psyche Society successfully held its 1st General Assembly this morning, August 20, 2026, via Microsoft Teams. The assembly brought together members from all four year levels for an exciting start to the academic year.

It was a morning filled with introductions, important announcements, and, of course, a little bit of chaos. Here’s to a meaningful and memorable year ahead, PsycheeeEeEeeeEe——

The MMSU Psyche Society invites all BS Psychology students to its 1st General Assembly, happening on August 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the MMSU Student Center.

With the dress code drawn from Inside Out, this year’s assembly takes inspiration from the emotions that shape our experiences. Each year level is invited to come dressed as their assigned emotion:

1st Year: Disgust
2nd Year: Sadness
3rd Year: Embarrassment (Note: Hoodies are required!)
4th Year: Anger

Beyond the fun, the assembly will serve as a space to look ahead as a community. Plans and activities for the first semester will be presented, discussed, and deliberated as PsycheSoc sets the direction for another year of academic, cultural, and community engagement.

So, bring your ideas, your enthusiasm, and perhaps a little bit of your assigned emotion.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱. 𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

As the pioneer batch of the MMSU BS Psychology students prepares to take the Psychometrician Licensure Examination this September 1-2, 2026, the MMSU Psyche Society stands with them as they take this defining step forward.

Years of learning, perseverance, and preparation have led to this moment. Now, as they step through the door they have worked toward, may they carry with them the knowledge they have gained, the challenges they have overcome, and the purpose that brought them here.

To the pioneers, may you face the examination with confidence, courage, and trust in all that you have worked tirelessly for. Whatever lies beyond the door, you have already made history by being the first to walk through it.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Kyra Raval and Ralph Jaynon Turda proudly represented the MMSU Psyche Society at the recent ASEAN Fashion Show held at the CAS Lobby from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.

More than representing the organization, they carried with them the heritage of the Isnag-Yapayao people of Dumalneg, Ilocos Norte. Through the Inyapayao, they brought ancestral memory, cultural identity, and indigenous resilience to the stage.

The MMSU Psyche Society proudly recognizes Kyra and Ralph for embodying the value of representation and giving space to a culture whose stories deserve to be seen, honored, and remembered.

The Mariano Marcos State University Bachelor of Science in Psychology program proudly presents the 2𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, with the theme “𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆."

This ceremony marks a significant milestone as the program’s Fourth Year students prepare to apply their knowledge, skills, and values in professional settings. More than a symbol of achievement, the pin represents their growing commitment to ethical practice, excellence, and compassionate service.

The event will feature 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗕. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆, 𝗥𝗣𝘀𝘆, 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, as guest and keynote speaker.

The MMSU Psyche Society has always been home to students whose passions reach far beyond the classroom. Whether in leadership, research, community engagement, the arts, debate, journalism, or countless other pursuits, Psychology students continue to prove that understanding people goes hand in hand with creating meaningful impact.

Today, the MMSU Psyche Society proudly celebrates three students who have risen to lead some of the University's most respected student publications:

• Rejenlei Fabro — Editor-in-Chief, SIRMATA, the official student publication of Mariano Marcos State University
• John Natividad — Editor-in-Chief, The Edge, the official student publication of the College of Arts and Sciences
• Thomer Briones — Editor-in-Chief, Salaysayen, the official publication of the MMSU Advocates for Cultural Development

To lead a publication is more than overseeing stories. It’s about amplifying voices, pursuing truth, fostering dialogue, and shaping the narratives that define a community. In doing so, these student leaders embody the principles of social justice by advocating for truth, promoting equity and inclusion, giving voice to diverse perspectives, and fostering informed discourse within and beyond the University. These responsibilities demand integrity, discernment, empathy, and courage, qualities that they exemplify with distinction.

As they take the helm of their respective publications, may they continue to write with purpose, lead with conviction, and inspire others to do the same.
