SA PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!

Ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon ay sumusuporta sa ika-50 taong pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon, na may temang "Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!"

Tuon ng pagdiriwang ngayong taon ang kahalagahan nang Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023-2028 at ang pagkakaroon nito ng matibay na suporta mula sa iba’t ibang lebel ng sektor upang maisakatuparan ang layunin nitong masugpo ang lahat ng uri ng malnutrisyon sa ating bansa.

Sa pagtataguyod ng 2024 Nutrition Month campaign, inaanyayahan ng DepEd ang mga Regional at Schools Division Offices, kabilang ang mga paaralan na makiisa at magbigay ng kanilang suporta para sa PPAN.

Kaya’t mga ka-Deped, halina't makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Nutrisyon ngayong Hulyo para sa mas malusog na kinabukasan ng lahat, lalo na nang ating mga mag-aaral!

Amidst the soothing whispers of the waves and the eagerness to foster change, the Ferdinand E. Marcos Senior High School, led by the passionate hearts of its Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O), orchestrated a powerful convergence today, December 2, 2023. A combination of determination and environmental consciousness echoed as the school, alongside the Movement Against Plastic Pollution (MAPP) Ilocos Norte and various interest clubs, embarked on a mission to keep the ocean and the school cleaner.

From the break of dawn, enthusiastic volunteers, representing various interest clubs of the school, immersed themselves in this collective endeavor. Armed not only with gloves and bags but also with an unwavering commitment to effect change, they combed the coastline, picking up plastic wastes that have ruined the beauty of Currimao shoreline.

After which, the group meticulously rejuvenated the spaces where knowledge thrives. With an unwavering sense of ownership and pride for their educational sanctuaries, they worked tirelessly, infusing the environment with a renewed vibrancy.

Through their collaborative efforts, a profound message resonates - the power of unity in fostering change. As the day culminated, the shores stood cleaner, radiating a newfound purity, and the school premises gleamed with the promise of fresh beginnings.

Ferdinand E. Marcos Senior High School, SSLG, YES-O, MAPP Ilocos Norte, and every individual who contributed, not only cleaned but also kindled a flame of awareness, promising a future where nature thrives, and education blooms in spaces cherished and respected. The future of science and technology is brighter than ever as students of Ferdinand E. Marcos Senior School went on a journey of innovation and discovery at the 2023 Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week with the theme "Agham at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Maunlad at Matatag na Kinabukasan." last October 18, 2023, at the Ilocos Norte Centennial Arena, Laoag City.

With wide smiles and curious minds, these future scientists and tech leaders embarked on a journey of exploration, tapping into the inexhaustible reservoir of science and technology. The event showcased a number of experiments, engaging discussions, and groundbreaking scientific innovations from the region, providing the students with a comprehensive and immersive experience.

Through this event, the future innovators from FEMSHS have illuminated the path to a brighter and more resilient future through their passion for science and technology.
