We warmly welcome the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (DMMMSU-NARTDI) and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Regional Apiculture Center (CBSUA-RAC) to the Bicol Beekeepers Association Inc. (BBAI)! 🐝🌿

Ngayong August 19, 2026, nagkaroon kami ng pagkakataong mabisita ng DMMMSU-NARTDI at CBSUA-RAC upang magsagawa ng inspection sa aming mga beehives at alamin ang mga pest at iba pang challenges na aming nararanasan sa stingless beekeeping.

Isang malaking karangalan din na mabisita ang dalawang farm ng aming grupo— Arsen's Farmville Resort at Sahlee's Agricultural Farm —kung saan patuloy naming inaalagaan at kino-culture ang aming mga stingless bees. 🐝🌱

Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (DMMMSU-NARTDI) at Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Regional Apiculture Center (CBSUA-RAC) sa pagbibigay ng kanilang oras upang makita at mas maunawaan ang aming mga practices sa stingless beekeeping.

Malaking bagay po sa amin ang inyong pagbisita at pakikipagpalitan ng kaalaman. Patuloy kaming matututo, makikinig, at magsisikap na mapabuti ang aming practices para sa mas responsable at sustainable na pag-aalaga ng stingless bees. 🐝🌿

PHASE 2 | Consultative Meeting on the Establishment of the Regional Stingless Bee Advisory Board (RSBAB) 🐝🌱

The consultation was held at the Farmer’s Training Hall, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur.

A productive day of listening, sharing experiences, and working together toward a stronger direction for the stingless bee industry in the Bicol Region. 🐝

The consultation brought together representatives from various government agencies, stakeholders, associations, groups, farmers, beekeepers, researchers, and individuals involved in stingless beekeeping, together with the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (DMMMSU-NARTDI) and the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Regional Apiculture Center (CBSUA-RAC) in discussing and shaping regulations, policies, programs, and initiatives for the development of the industry.

This consultation provided an important platform to hear the experiences, concerns, needs, and recommendations of those directly involved in the field—helping ensure that future plans and policies are grounded in the realities and needs of the stingless bee sector.

More than establishing an advisory board, this is about bringing people, communities, researchers, organizations, and institutions together toward a shared goal: strengthening, supporting, and advancing the stingless bee industry in Bicol. 🐝🌿

A meaningful gathering of stingless beekeepers, beekeeping associations, and stakeholders from across the region for the Consultative Meeting on the Establishment of the Regional Stingless Bee Advisory Board (RSBAB).

The meeting was held at the Farmer’s Training Hall, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur.

This consultation brought together individuals and organizations engaged in stingless beekeeping to share experiences, insights, concerns, and recommendations toward strengthening and advancing the stingless bee industry in the Bicol Region.

A step toward stronger collaboration, better support, and a more sustainable future for stingless beekeeping in Bicol. 🐝🌿

🐝 Bicol Beekeepers Association Inc.
Bayanihan: Sama-Sama Para sa Kaunlaran

Isinagawa ng mga miyembro ng Bicol Beekeepers Association Inc. ang isang bayanihan kung saan sama-samang naglinis, nag-ayos, at nagpinta ng aming tanggapan. Sa simpleng pagtutulungan, bawat isa ay naglaan ng oras, lakas, at kakayahan upang maging mas maayos, malinis, at kaaya-aya ang aming lugar. Higit sa lahat, naging masaya ang bawat miyembro sa sama-samang pagkilos at pagbabahagi ng oras para sa iisang layunin.

Ang gawaing ito ay patunay na mas nagiging makabuluhan ang anumang layunin kapag ito ay isinasagawa nang sama-sama. Ang bayanihan ay hindi lamang tungkol sa paglilinis o pag-aayos ng isang lugar, kundi tungkol sa pagpapalakas ng samahan, pagkakaisa, at malasakit sa bawat isa. Sa bawat tulong at bawat kamay na kumilos, mas napapalakas natin ang BBAI bilang isang nagkakaisang samahan tungo sa mas maunlad at mas matatag na pamayanan ng mga nag-aalaga ng bubuyog. 🐝🤝💛

🐝🌿 Area: Tata's Bee Farm

Our Stingless Beekeeping Farm Site Visitation 2026 continued at Tata's Bee Farm, where participants had the opportunity to briefly observe the stingless bee colonies and learn more about the farm's ongoing initiatives.

Although our visit was short, it provided another valuable opportunity for members to connect, exchange experiences, and appreciate the different ways local farms contribute to sustainable agriculture and beekeeping. The visit also highlighted a variety of locally produced farm products, showcasing the importance of supporting fellow farmers and local enterprises.

Our sincere thanks to Tata's Bee Farm for welcoming the Bicol Beekeepers Association, Inc. and for generously sharing your farm products with our group. Your kindness and hospitality are truly appreciated. 🐝💛

🐝🌿 Area: J Bees Farm

Our Stingless Beekeeping Farm Site Visitation 2026 continued at J Bees Farm, where participants gained valuable insights into stingless bee management, farm practices, and real-world beekeeping experiences.

The visit provided another meaningful opportunity for members to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen the spirit of collaboration within our beekeeping community. Every farm visit adds new knowledge and inspiration that encourages us to continue promoting responsible and sustainable beekeeping.

Our heartfelt thanks to J Bees Farm for the warm welcome extended to the Bicol Beekeepers Association, Inc. We are also truly grateful for the generous and delicious lunch prepared for everyone, which made the visit even more memorable.
