𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦: The PYAP Basey Chapter's representative from Brgy Sawa Francis Villamor won the championship on the Chess One-day League Tournament which happened last July 30, 2024 at CEO Gymnasium Conference Room, Tacloban City Youth Club. Villamor was able to win against the representative of PYAP Catbalogan Chapter which secured his win.

In addition, the PYAP Basey Chapter was declared the overall champion of the entire contest. The said Chapter was awarded at the Gabi ng Parangal which was held at the Tacloban City Convention Center on the same day.

𝙋𝙖𝙪𝙣𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤!

The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines - Eastern Visayas Chapter celebrated its 50th founding anniversary with the theme: "𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚: 𝙁𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝-𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚" which took place at Robinsons North Abucay, Tacloban City last July 29 - 30 2024.

The delegation of PYAP Basey led by the Youth Focal Rassendylle Llenado, Mr. Roy Avila, Hon. Joaquint Orejola, and PYAP Federation President Lara Mae Sumayod attended the said event. The representatives showcased their talents in various competition including PYAP Sawa President Cherry Ann Lancanan who participated in PYAP Pa-sing-laban Solo Singing Contest and Francis Villamor in PYAP Sports Competition specifically in Chess One-day League Tournament.

The results of the competition was announced at the Gabi ng Parangal which was held at Tacloban City Convention Center last July 30, 2024.
