📌Advocacy Campaign on RA 9262, RA 9208, RA 11930, RA 9344, & RA 9165 l Aug. 06, 2026
Today, August 6, 2026, the LGU of Basey through the Love, Care & Protection Program and Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO) held an Advocacy Campaign covering RA 9262, RA 9208, RA 11930, RA 9344, and RA 9165. The event was attended by Forty (40) selected 4Ps beneficiaries and members of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC).
A just community is a safe home for every woman and child. As we advocate for RA 9262, we remind everyone that abuse is a crime, not a family matter. Let us be the people who listen, the neighbors who help, and the leaders who ensure this law is fully implemented for all.
Your voice can save a life. RA 9208 reminds us that protecting our neighbors is our shared duty. Let us raise awareness, support survivors, and ensure no one falls victim to deception and exploitation. Safe communities start with us.
Safety has no offline or online boundaries. RA 11930 ensures children are protected everywhere—including digital spaces. Report suspicious content, stand against exploitation, and uphold the law that defends our youth.
RA 9344 upholds the rights of children in conflict with the law, prioritizing diversion, rehabilitation, and proper care over punishment. Every child deserves a chance to change, learn, and build a better future. Let us protect and guide them, not condemn them.
