Happy 27th Year APO KAMAYO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Charter Number 109 🥳

To commemorate the event, the members held a dinner party last May 8, 2026 with a raffle draw as its fund-raising activity. Proceeds will be used to construct a concrete APO marker/welcome sign along the highway of Barobo, Lianga, San Agustin and Tagbina, Surigao del Sur.

APO KAMAYO AA Donates medicines for newborn babies and their mommies!

On April 15, 2026, members of APO Kamayo Alumni Association trooped to Barobo Poblacion Health Center to give away free Tempra drops for babies and Tempra tablets for mothers. A total of 60 mothers and and babies were able to receive the free medicines.

The group also handed out some snacks much to the delight of the crowd, including the officials and staff of the said health facility.

Fulfillment of a promise

APO Kamayo, led by its President Deo Osorio, officially handed over the prescription eyeglasses to Krisha Mae and Kristin Mae, the Albino twins with vision defects.

On March 6, 2023, the group went to Kabahian Elem. School to deliver the glasses to the girls. A short program was initiated by the school.

For a meaningful 76th National Founding Anniversary celebration, APO Kamayo fulfilled the wishes of these 2 Albino girls who asked for prescription eyeglasses back in December 2025.

On February 28, 2026, APO Kamayo brought twins Krisha Mae and Kristin Mae at an optical center in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur to have their eyes examined by a professional and be prescribed corrective eyeglasses accordingly.
The eyeglasses will enhance their visual clarity, particularly on bright or sunny outdoor conditions.

A simple gathering was also held on March 2, 2026 to commemorate the occasion. This was attended by APO Kamayo members from Barobo, Lianga and San Agustin, Surigao del Sur.

APO Kamayo strives to continue contribute meaningfully to the society as part of our effort to be of service as fully participating citizens.
