On January 30, 2026, at the CTU–Barili Covered Court, the BSABE 2nd and 3rd Year students offered their prayers to Señor Santo Niño through a passionate, soul-filled dance. Every step came from the heart, full of faith, gratitude, and unity. Hannah Maslog (4th Year BSABE) proudly represented the Institute, and we were honored to have Engr. Yvonne Elizalde, Festival Queen 2025, with us as she officially passed the crown to the new queen.

This was never just a performance, it was a sincere offering. You could feel the devotion in every movement, the teamwork behind every formation, and the love poured into every detail.

Our deepest thanks to our dancers, Festival Queen, faculty, and students who gave their time, effort, and support to make this possible. Despite the challenges, everyone found a way to help and that alone already made this moment special.

May Señor Santo Niño hear our prayers and continue to bless us, our families, and everyone around us. Thank you, Señor Santo Niño, for bringing us together in faith. 🙏

On December 11, 2025, the second-year students of the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering shone brightly, literally, as they showcased their mastery and creativity in the Arnis Ritual Showdown during the First Semester PATHFIT Culmination.

Their dazzling performance, co-themed with the Dagitab (Light) Festival of Naga, captivated the audience with energy and artistry.

As the event concluded, they proudly garnered the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝—a testament to their creativity and the spectacle that left spectators in awe. 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑩𝑺𝑨𝑩𝑬-2!

The BSABE-4 students proudly reigned at the Rizal Film Competition organized by Mr. Jhundel Delfino, instructor of Life and Works of Rizal, held at the CTU Barili Covered Court on December 11, 2025. Through their compelling film “𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙡𝙞: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡,” they showcased remarkable creativity, depth, and cinematic excellence inspired by the life and ideals of Dr. José Rizal.

Their outstanding performance earned multiple awards, including 1st Place – Best Film, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Sound Design, Best Screenplay, Best Storytelling, and Best Visual Effects. Individual recognitions were also awarded to Kyla Campilan (Best Director), Arvin Llanes (Best Actor), Keshia Mae Asingua (Best Supporting Actress), and Peter John Enorio (Best Supporting Actor). Congratulations, BSABE-4, for this well-deserved victory and for bringing Rizal’s soul to life on screen!

Cebu Technological University proudly celebrates Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, recipient of the prestigious Research Leadership Award! This honor recognizes his exceptional dedication to advancing research culture and scholarship within the university. Dr. Pascual's commitment shines through his efforts to encourage colleagues to share their findings and actively participate in the 1st International Interdisciplinary Research Summit 2025.

Held in Cebu City from October 28-30, 2025, the summit's theme, "Interdisciplinary Innovations: Advancing Business, Education, and Social Science for a Sustainable Future," highlighted the importance of collaborative research.

Dr. Pascual's influence extends far beyond the conference room. He has fostered a thriving academic environment, boosting CTU's research profile on the global stage. But Dr. Pascual's impact is also felt within the classroom. BSABE students brought incredible energy and talent to the opening day, November 26, 2025 of our Intramurals!

It was a spectacular showcase across every discipline. From the field, we saw sheer physical power with massive throws in the Shot Put, Javelin Throw, and Discus. Indoors, strategic minds clashed in the Men's and Women's Chess tournaments, while teamwork and quick reflexes were on full display during the thrilling Mobile Legends esports battles.

And let's not forget the incredible talent showcase in the highly anticipated Dance Palabas that capped off the day! 💃
