Isang mainit at taos-pusong pagbati sa ating SK Chairperson, Hon. Aron John V. Manalo, sa pagkilala bilang One of the Top 10 Most Outstanding SK Chairpersons in the Province of Rizal sa Taas Noo Kabataang Rizalenyo Gawad Parangal 2026 ng Rizal Provincial Government, kahapon September 18, 2026, sa Ynares Events Center.

[ICYMI] SOMETIMES, WE JUST NEED A SAFE SPACE TO PAUSE, LISTEN, AND BE HEARD 🎬🍫✨

Noong August 30, 2026, ang Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Concepcion, kasama ang Rotaract Club of Baras, ay matagumpay na isinagawa ang Cinema & S’mores Year 2: A Youth Mental Health Movie Hangout Session sa Baras Municipal Gymnasium, bilang pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. 🧡🩷

Hindi lang ito basta movie hangout; this was an afternoon filled with stories, reflections, conversations, and meaningful connections. 🫶🏻

For this year’s movie, we watched Pixar’s SOUL (2020)—a heartwarming story that invited us to reflect on life, purpose, passion, and the little things that make life meaningful. ✨

And of course, mas naging sweet ang movie experience with our delicious S’mores! 🍫🔥 Perfect combo: good movie, good food, and meaningful conversations. 😋

After the screening, we went beyond the movie through a meaningful Debriefing Session facilitated by Ms. Racquel Emmanuel Buenaventura, RSW, MMPA, Acting MSWD Officer of the Municipality of Baras, Rizal. Participants were given the opportunity to reflect on the film and connect its lessons with their own experiences, dreams, and perspectives in life. 🧠💭

Then, we continued with Small Group Sharing, facilitated by our dedicated SKs and Rotaractors, where participants were encouraged to openly share their thoughts and reflections in a safe and supportive space. 🫂💬

To keep the energy going, an Interactive Activity brought everyone together before officially wrapping up the afternoon! 🎉

More than just a movie hangout, Cinema & S’mores Year 2 became a space where stories were shared, voices were heard, and meaningful connections were created.

Here’s to more spaces where the youth can pause, reflect, connect, and simply be themselves. One movie. One conversation. One connection at a time. 🎬✨
