The Rotary Club of Baras proudly joined Brigada Eskwela 2026 with a meaningful kick-off project for the Create Lasting Impact Term! 💙

Held on June 2, 2026 at Baras Elementary School, the Club turned over lapel microphones to all Kindergarten teachers of the Baras School Districts, along with additional manipulative learning materials to support our young learners in their classroom journey.

This initiative reflects our commitment to strengthening education, empowering teachers, and creating a more engaging learning environment for every child. 🌱📖

[ICYMI] 🤝 Strengthening Sisterhood Through Service and Creating Lasting Impact! 💙💛

On August 11, 2026, our Sister Club, the Rotary Club of Manila Premier, proudly unveiled its Global Grant Project: Mobile Kitchen Truck, which will benefit communities in Baras and other partner clubs.

Representing the Rotary Club of Baras during the ceremonies were High Impact President Jovita “Juvie” P. Cawicaan, together with fellow Rotarians and representatives from the Local Government Unit of Baras.

On the same day, HIP Juvie and other Rotarians also attended the Induction Ceremonies of the Rotary Club of Manila Premier, highlighted by the meaningful renewal of the Sisterhood Agreement between our two clubs.

This renewed partnership symbolizes our shared commitment to friendship, collaboration, and service—working hand in hand to create meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve.

The Rotary International District 3800 Governor’s Visit to the Rotary Club of Baras was held on August 6, 2026, at Grimaldi Restobar, Grand Monaco Hotel, Taytay, Rizal.

The Club warmly welcomed District Governor Celso Montalla, together with the District Officers, for an inspiring visit centered on fellowship, club leadership, and strengthening our commitment to service above self.

Led by High Impact President Jovita “Juvie” Cawicaan, the Rotary Club of Baras continues to embrace the call to Create Lasting Impact through meaningful service and stronger partnerships for the community. ✨

[ICYMI] On July 18, 2026, during the visit of Assistant Governor for Zone 5B, AG Gibo facilitated the Charging of eight (8) applicants for membership in the Rotary Club of Baras at Grind and Brew Café, Baras, Rizal.

The AG’s visit also served as part of the Club’s preparations for the Governor’s Visit, which took place on August 6, 2026.

🤰💙 Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby: Year 2 💙👶

A healthier future begins with a healthy mother.

The Rotary Club of Baras, in partnership with the Municipality of Baras, Rizal, successfully piloted Project Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby: Year 2, officially launching its nutritional guidance and dietary supplementation program for Nutritionally At Risk (NAR) Pregnant Mothers in Brgy. Pinugay, Baras, Rizal.

Held on July 15, 2026, at Sitio Cinco Court, Brgy. Pinugay, the project marks another meaningful step in advancing Maternal and Child Health by equipping expectant mothers with the knowledge, support, and nutritional assistance they need for healthier pregnancies and healthier babies.

Together, we continue to Create Lasting Impact—because every mother we empower and every child we nurture brings us closer to a stronger, healthier community.
