Today, we gather to celebrate leadership, honor dedicated service, and welcome a new set of leaders who will continue creating meaningful change in our community.

🤰💙 Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby: Year 2 💙👶

A healthier future begins with a healthy mother.

The Rotary Club of Baras, in partnership with the Municipality of Baras, Rizal, successfully piloted Project Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby: Year 2, officially launching its nutritional guidance and dietary supplementation program for Nutritionally At Risk (NAR) Pregnant Mothers in Brgy. Pinugay, Baras, Rizal.

Held on July 15, 2026, at Sitio Cinco Court, Brgy. Pinugay, the project marks another meaningful step in advancing Maternal and Child Health by equipping expectant mothers with the knowledge, support, and nutritional assistance they need for healthier pregnancies and healthier babies.

Together, we continue to Create Lasting Impact—because every mother we empower and every child we nurture brings us closer to a stronger, healthier community.

For its second year, the Rotary Club of Baras, in partnership with the Municipality of Baras, proudly continues Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby: A Dietary Supplementation Program for Pregnant Women—an initiative committed to promoting safe pregnancies, proper maternal nutrition, and healthier beginnings for every child.

[ICYMI] 🍲💛 BUSOG-LUSOG SIGLA KIDS PROJECT 💛🍲

Last July 2, 2026, the Rotary Club of Baras, in partnership with the Baras Rural Health Unit and the RCC–Baras Barangay Nutritionist Scholars, successfully conducted the Busog-Lusog Sigla Kids Project at the Baras Gymnasium. A total of 50 children benefited from the program through the provision of free hot meals, as well as nutrition assessment and weighing check-ups aimed at promoting healthier growth and development among our young beneficiaries.

During the activity, Municipal Nutritionist Mrs. Marinel Tisang-Buenaventura led an informative session on Proper Nutrition and Pinggang Pinoy, helping children and parents understand the importance of balanced meals and healthy eating habits. Through partnerships and service, we continue to nurture healthier, happier, and stronger communities—one child at a time. 💙💛

"Heto na! Heto naaa! Haaaa!" A new Rotary Year begins, bringing with it renewed purpose, fresh opportunities, and the promise of creating meaningful change.

Today, we proudly welcome President Jovita P. Cawicaan, as she leads the Rotary Club of Baras into the 2026–2027 Rotary Year under Rotary International's theme, "Create Lasting Impact."

With a heart for service and a steadfast commitment to the ideals of Rotary, HIP Juvie embarks on this journey with a vision to turn every act of kindness into a lasting legacy. Guided by compassion, strengthened by fellowship, and inspired by a shared purpose, she calls on every Rotarian to create positive change that extends far beyond today.
