Behind every tricycle on the road is a driver striving to provide for their family—facing each day with resilience despite the challenges of rising fuel costs and inflation. In response, the Rotaract Club of Baras continues its mission through Project TODA Max!: Rotaract People of Action, an initiative anchored in service, compassion, and community solidarity.

With the unwavering support and generosity of our donors and partners, we are grateful to announce that the project moves forward with Leg Two, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Baras, set on May 1, 2026. This next phase stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we come together for a shared purpose.

We continue to open our doors to those who wish to extend help. Donations—whether in cash or in-kind such as rice, canned goods, eggs, and other essentials—remain vital in sustaining this effort. More than providing relief, this initiative is a gesture of pagkalinga, reminding our drivers that they are seen, valued, and never alone in their journey.

Together, let us keep the wheels of kindness turning. Together, we !

On March 17, 2026, the Rotary Club of Baras marked a meaningful milestone with the unveiling of its Rotary Peace Pole at the serene grounds of the Baras Kasarinlan Eco Park. More than a ceremonial installation, the Peace Pole stands as a powerful and enduring reminder of our shared responsibility to foster unity, understanding, and harmony in our community and beyond.

Bearing the universal message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth,” the Peace Pole calls on every individual to become an instrument of peace—through simple acts of kindness, respect for one another, and a commitment to service above self. It reflects Rotary’s unwavering dedication to peacebuilding as a cornerstone of creating lasting change in the world.

The unveiling ceremony was graced by the presence of DG Gina Sanchez, District Governor, whose leadership continues to inspire Rotarians to pursue impactful service projects; PP Noel Cuico, District Service Project Chair, who champions initiatives that bring meaningful transformation to communities; and GP Kathrine Robles, President of the Rotary Club of Baras, whose vision and dedication made this project possible. Joining them were committed Rotarians and passionate Rotaractors of Baras, united in their mission to serve and uplift.

Set against the natural beauty of Baras, this Peace Pole now becomes a landmark of hope—a quiet yet powerful symbol that transcends differences and brings people together under one shared aspiration: a peaceful and compassionate world.

As we celebrate this milestone, may this Peace Pole continue to inspire generations to uphold the values of goodwill, empathy, and service. Together, let us carry forward its message and make peace not just a vision, but a way of life.

Empowering young minds through meaningful learning, the Rotary Club of Baras successfully implemented Karunungan Clicks, a District Grant Project aimed at enhancing early childhood education by distributing Manipulative Learning Materials to all 10 schools offering Kindergarten across the municipality.

On March 17, 2026, Rotarians gathered at Santiago Elementary School for the project presentation and symbolic turnover of materials. The event was graced by District Governor Gina Sanchez, PP Noel Cuico (District Service Project Chair), and GP Kathrine B. Robles, alongside the dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Baras.

In partnership with the Department of Education–Baras District, led by Dr. Emilia Cayabyab (District Superintendent), with the support of Mrs. Lorelei Ana San Juan (Principal, Santiago ES) and Mr. Gilbert Danao (Principal, Evangelista ES), a Memorandum of Agreement was formally signed—strengthening a shared commitment to quality education.

The activity concluded with the distribution of learning materials to teachers, as well as food and toys for the Kindergarten pupils of Brgy. Santiago, Baras, Rizal—bringing smiles and inspiration to the hearts of every child.
