Ezekiel 12:28
“Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord. Ezekiel 12:28

1. God’s Word will not fail.
What God has spoken does not become empty simply because time has passed. His promises remain true.

2. God’s timing is not our timing.
Israel had heard prophetic warnings but assumed fulfillment was still far away. God was telling them that the time had come. Delay does not mean denial.

3. What God says, He will fulfill.
The key phrase is: “whatever I say will be fulfilled.” Our confidence is not in circumstances but in the One who spoke—the Sovereign Lord.

4. We must be ready when God’s appointed time comes.
The passage challenges people who keep postponing their response to God. When God says, “Now,” we should not continue saying, “Someday.”

“The delay of the promise does not mean the cancellation of the promise.”
God may allow a season of waiting, preparation, testing, and refining. But when His appointed time comes, His Word will come to pass.
You can connect this with Habakkuk 2:3:
“Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”

“What God has spoken over my life, my family, and His work will be fulfilled. I will not lose faith because of delay. I will remain faithful, ready, and obedient until God’s appointed time.”

Breakthrough means a significant breakthrough from something that has been holding you back, an obstacle, limitation, spiritual opposition, difficult season, or seemingly impossible situation.

Biblically, breakthrough is often connected with God making a way where there seems to be no way.
“The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water.”
— 2 Samuel 5:20
3 things about spiritual breakthrough
Breakthrough begins with God.
We cannot force what only God can accomplish. We pray, trust, and depend on Him.
Breakthrough often requires perseverance.
A delay is not necessarily a denial. Continue praying even when you do not yet see the answer.
Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not become weary in doing good…”
Breakthrough brings us into a new level of purpose.
God doesn't give breakthrough merely so we can say, “I escaped.” He gives breakthrough so we can move forward in His calling.

“I believe that God is making a way for me. Every obstacle that is against His will for my life will be overcome by His power. I will not give up, I will not lose faith, and I will not turn back. The God who brought me this far will bring me through. I am moving from struggle to victory, from limitation to opportunity, and from waiting to breakthrough. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

our circumstances do not cancel God’s purpose.
Joseph was in prison, but God was still working through him. His location did not determine his calling.

Joseph served others even while suffering.
He could have focused only on his own problems, but he noticed the sadness of the cupbearer and baker.

Give God the glory for what He has given you.
Joseph said, “Do not interpretations belong to God?” He recognized that his ability came from God.

God can use difficult places to prepare us.
The prison became a place where Joseph demonstrated wisdom, leadership, compassion, and spiritual discernment—qualities he would later need in Pharaoh's palace.

Being forgotten by people does not mean being forgotten by God.
The cupbearer forgot Joseph, but God did not forget Joseph. Sometimes God's timing requires us to wait longer than we expect.
