The Bureau of Fire Protection โ€“ Bansud Fire Station under the leadership of SFO4 Lorena M Seรฑo- Abece, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, together with the Bansud MPS, PNP SAF, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and other partner agencies, participated in the conduct of the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill at Felimon M. Salcedo Sr. Memorial National High School.
This activity prepares students, teachers, and school staff to respond quickly and calmly during emergencies especially in the shooting incident. By practicing evacuation routes, proper procedures, and teamwork ahead of time, drills reduce panic, prevent injuries, and save lives when a real crisis happens.
It also help schools to identify gaps in their safety plans, ensure everyone knows their role, and build confidence so the whole school community can react in an organized and effective way.
