𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲!

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), through its Health Sector headed by National Chairperson Aljon Alquizola, successfully conducted its Bloodletting Initiative on August 8, 2026, at the Yummy Corner & Function Hall, San Jose, Digos City.

With the theme “Be a Hero. Save a Life.”, the initiative brought together volunteers, partners, and community members in a collective effort to support the continuing need for safe and adequate blood supplies. Through the generosity of our donors, the activity successfully collected 84 bags of blood, representing 84 meaningful acts of compassion that can help save lives.

The Foundation extends its appreciation to our valued partners—Philippine Red Cross - Davao del Sur Chapter, the Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office (DSPPO), and the participation of 39th Infantry "Smash'Em" Battalion—who strengthened the success of this humanitarian undertaking. We likewise recognize the support of our sponsors, Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. and Rotary CLUB of DIGOS, for helping make this initiative possible.

GCCFI also expresses its sincere gratitude to Founding Chairman Albert C. Arroco Jr., MPA, CePG, and National President Karl Lyndon Sabio, LPT, MPA, CePG, for their continued leadership and support in advancing programs that place compassion, volunteerism, and community welfare at the heart of service. We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Board of Trustees Epthony Tampus and Job Fernandez, as well as Community Sector National Chairperson Abigail Baysac and Education Sector National Chairperson Ann Karen M. Marhen, for gracing the activity and lending their time, support, and helping hands to make this humanitarian initiative meaningful and successful.

Every drop donated carries a story of generosity, solidarity, and hope. As GCCFI continues to bring its sectors and partners together in meaningful service, may we always remember that the greatest legacy we can leave is one that helps others live, heal, and move forward.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊// PROJECT TUMADDU YEAR 4 UPDATE

The Project Tummadu Year 4 now on its 5th Week continues to make meaningful progress in bringing basic education and learning opportunities to children and youth in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantage Areas (GIDAS).

As of today, the project has reached 50% completion, reflecting the unwavering commitment of the Alpha “Achievers” Company, 39th Infantry “Smash’Em” Batallion under the leadership of 1LT PHILIP D SERVIDAD (INF) PA in partnership with the Youth For Peace Movement-TALBOS Sta. Cruz Chapter in extending educational support to young learners of Sitio Mariras, Barangay Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

Through this effort, the personnel of Alpha “Achievers” Company, 39th Infantry “Smash‘Em” Battalion and Youth Volunteers of Sta. Cruz travel to isolated communities to conduct basic education sessions, reading and literacy activities, values formation, and youth engagement. These efforts aim to inspire children to embrace the value of education and encourage them to pursue a brighter future despite the challenges of distance and limited access to learning resources.

This activity’s success is not possible without the support of the Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz headed by its Mayor, Hon. Jose Nelson Z. Sala Sr. and from the unwavering support of various stakeholders and partners.

With half of the mission already accomplished, the team remains committed to continue teaching the young learners of Sitio Mariras and ensuring that every child has enhanced and improved in their reading and writing skills.
Together, we will bring education closer to every child and build a stronger and more empowered nation.

📸 𝙊𝙉 𝙇𝙀𝙉𝙎 // SERVING WITH HEART, CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY

On 31 July 2026, the Alpha “ACHIEVERS” Company, 39th Infantry “Smash’Em” Battalion conducted an Outreach Program at Sitio Pilan, Barangay Sinoron, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur together with Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz, Municipal Health Office (MHO) Sta. Cruz, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) Sta. Cruz, Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc., and volunteers from Youth For Peace Movement TALBOS Sta. Cruz Chapter. This Outreach Program brought smiles and warmth to the community and reflected the Army’s commitment to reaching communities and serving the people with genuine malasakit and compassion. Alpha Company led the program through Food Packs distribution together with MSWDO Sta. Cruz, and conducted free haircut services, and a feeding program. MHO Sta. Cruz extended essential medical services to community members, providing care and health assistance, and free medicines and vitamins to help promote the well-being of families in the area. Adding joy and encouragement to the young members of the community, the Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc. distributed school supplies, helping students prepare for their educational journey and inspiring them to continue learning and dreaming big. The outreach was more than just a distribution of goods and services—it was a celebration of bayanihan, partnership, and service to the community. Every food pack shared, every haircut given, every medical service rendered, every meal served, and every school supply distributed represented a simple but powerful message unity and service.

Through the collective efforts of our dedicated personnel, health workers, social welfare staff, volunteers and partners, this outreach became an opportunity to provide support, promote well-being, and strengthen the bond between service providers, local government unit and the community.
From every helping hand to every warm smile, the activity reflected the power of partnership and bayanihan. The Philippine Army, local government unit and its partner organizations continue to show that when we work together with one purpose, we can bring hope, care, and positive change to the people we serve.

‎The Youth for Peace Movement – Davao del Sur formally presented its organizational background, KaliNow 101and introduced the Youth Leadership Summit to the Civil Military Operations Unit CMOU-Eastern Mindanao, Philippine Navy aimed at fostering stronger collaboration for youth development and peace advocacy.

‎The engagement served as a platform to discuss potential areas of partnership, shared initiatives, and collaborative efforts that empower young leaders to become active contributors to peace, community development, and nation-building. Through meaningful dialogue and mutual cooperation, both parties underscored the importance of strengthening youth participation and building sustainable partnerships that create positive social impact.

‎This initiative reflects YFPM–Davao del Sur’s continuing collaboration with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in advancing programs that cultivate leadership, strengthen volunteerism, and promote a culture of peace among the youth. MAKILALA, North Cotabato – The 39th Infantry "Smash'em" Battalion, led by LTC HECTOR A ESTOLAS INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, successfully conducted the 3-Day KALINOW Youth Leadership Summit 2026 from 03 to 05 July 2026 at the Advance Command Post of Alpha Company, 39IB, Sitio Tuban, Brgy. Cogon, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

The activity was spearheaded by Alpha Company, 39IB under the leadership of 1LT PHILIP D SERVIDAD INF PA, Commanding Officer, in collaboration with the Youth for Peace Movement "TALBOS" Sta. Cruz Chapter, headed by Mr. Samuelo Enoch Jr., and the Local Government Unit of Sta. Cruz, led by Hon. Jose Nelson Sala Sr.

During the opening program, Hon. Atty. Charlotte F. Gallego, Municipal Vice Mayor of Sta. Cruz, expressed her unwavering support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of investing in the youth as future leaders and partners in sustaining peace and development. She encouraged the participants to maximize the opportunity by developing their leadership skills, strengthening their values, and becoming responsible citizens who will contribute positively to their respective communities.

The three-day summit brought together 64 youth participants from various sitios and barangays across the Municipality of Sta. Cruz. It aimed to develop responsible, empowered, and peace-oriented young leaders through leadership training, values formation, team-building activities, and discussions that promoted volunteerism, civic responsibility, and the importance of sustaining peace in their communities.

In his message, LTC ESTOLAS expressed gratitude to the support of the Municipal Local Government Unit (MLGU) of Sta. Cruz headed by Mayor Jose Nelson Sala Sr. and emphasized the vital role of the youth as partners in nation-building and encouraged the participants to become ambassadors of peace and positive change within their respective communities.

During the closing program, Hon. Atty. Julius Frencie Rizada, Municipal Councilor and Chairperson of the Committee on Youth, conveyed his message of support by challenging the participants to put into practice the knowledge, skills, and values they gained throughout the summit. He urged the young leaders to become catalysts of positive change, inspire fellow youth, and actively contribute to peacebuilding and community development in their respective barangays.

The successful conduct of the KALINOW Youth Leadership Summit 2026 reflects the continued commitment of the 39th Infantry Battalion and its partner stakeholders to empower the youth, strengthen community partnerships, and foster lasting peace and development in Davao del Sur.

‎The Youth For Peace Movement (TALBOS) – Davao del Sur, in collaboration with the 1002nd Infantry "Bagwis" Brigade, Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc., Rotary, Goodlife Youth Movement Organization, Inc. and Angat Kabataan Pilipinas - Davao del Sur, carried out a two-day humanitarian mission for families affected by the recent earthquake in Brgy. Butulan.

‎On July 1, 2026, the team distributed 344 food packs and 344 gallons of drinking water to residents whose livelihoods and homes were impacted by the disaster. The relief operation aimed to provide immediate support to families as they continue to recover from the earthquake's effects.
‎
‎The outreach continued on July 2, 2026 with a community feeding program that brought together children and families, providing warm meals and fostering a sense of hope and solidarity within the community.
‎
‎The success of the mission was made possible through the dedication of volunteers, the unwavering support of partner organizations, and the generosity of donors whose contributions helped bring much-needed assistance to earthquake-affected families in Brgy. Butulan.
