The Chapter wishes to reiterate that following this transition, all official files, names, logos, and related materials bearing the ASIST name must be updated to the University of Abra, effective from the date of the institution's official conferment. Consequently, all official documentation generated or used after the conferment must strictly reflect the University of Abra (UA) designation.

The body also agreed to issue an official resolution regarding these matters, including the discontinuation of the production and usage of the old PICE-ASIST SC uniform, which was previously scheduled to be worn on Fridays only.
These changes subsequently led to disagreements and strong reactions from members of the PICE-UA SC. The PICE-UA Student Chapter acknowledges the concerns raised regarding the proposed changes to the new uniform. We understand that our uniform represents our identity and unity as Civil Engineering students, and we recognize that members may hold differing opinions on this matter.
We would like to clarify that the old uniform is now discouraged and no longer permitted for official use, as our institution is now the University of Abra and no longer ASIST. However, we are not forcing students to purchase the new uniform. As stated in the resolution, wearing the new organizational shirt on Fridays is optional; students who choose not to purchase the new uniform may continue wearing their maroon engineering uniform.
As a student organization, we believe that everyone deserves to be heard. We encourage respectful discussion, open communication, and proper coordination among the students, the organization, and the administration.
Let us address this issue with understanding and mutual respect, keeping in mind our shared goal of maintaining unity within our Civil Engineering community.
