All rise… it’s Madame Chair’s birthday. 🎉

Happy Birthday to our Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Rie Apolinar — the only person who can run a meeting, inspire a movement, and still have us laughing in between agenda items.

From big decisions to bold visions, you lead Youth for YOUth with both brilliance and a touch of iconic energy (as expected from our Madame Chair). Thank you for keeping us grounded, driven, and occasionally entertained.

Today, we adjourn all seriousness and celebrate YOU. May your year ahead be filled with wins, well-deserved breaks, and fewer “urgent” messages (we’ll try 😌).

With love and a little bit of chaos,
Your Youth for YOUth family 💙

A place where I belong, where I’m valued, and where I know I’m making a difference. 🤞✨

Seven years ago, we dreamed of creating a safe space where children, adolescents, and young key populations could feel empowered. We held on to the belief that “YOU for youth, youth for YOU!”—our way of reminding ourselves that real change happens when young people lift each other up. Our peer-to-peer advocacy became our heartbeat, grounded in courage, passion, and compassion.

From being the pioneering Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights youth organization, we’ve grown into a team taking the lead in human rights, humanitarian action, mental health, inclusive education, and building a true community of care.

For seven years, Youth for YOUth has been all about making every child, adolescent, and young person feel that they belong, that they matter, and that together we can create real change in our communities.

Seven years down, and we know there’s still so much more ahead; more milestones, more stories, more victories. And we’re excited because we know the YOUth is with us all the way.

These amazing years wouldn’t have been possible without you—our volunteers, community partners, LGUs, agencies, institutions, and NGO partners. Thank you for believing in us and in the community of care we’re building together. 💛✨

Maligayang Araw ni G*t Andres Bonifacio!✊

Bonifacio reminds us: we are never “too young” to lead.
He was young, brave, and unafraid to call out injustice—kaya tayo rin dapat.

Kabataan, kapit-bisig. Ipaglaban natin ang bayan. ✊🔥🇵🇭

🌿 It’s okay not to be okay. 💚

Some days feel heavier than others, and that’s perfectly human. You don’t have to have it all figured out, and you don’t always have to wear a smile. Healing takes time—so allow yourself to pause, to breathe, to cry, and to rest. Strength isn’t about being okay all the time; it’s about finding the courage to face the days when you’re not.

Remember: your feelings are valid, your struggles are real, and your story matters. Reaching out for help doesn’t make you weak—it means you’re brave enough to care for yourself.

Let’s break the stigma and remind one another that we’re never alone in this journey. 💚
